Friendly little local watering hole.
Nestled behind a nondescript and, honestly, intimidating entrance is this little gem. Good crowd, attentive staff and great cocktails in this unpretentious local bar.
Cool place for a beer.
Great place
This is where the trans girls hang out. 🏳️⚧️⚧️
It's more than that though. It's a friendly neighborhood LGBTQ bar where straight CIS couples come as well.
This place is amazing. Been going there since 2013. It’s the most welcoming environment. Very 🏳️⚧️ AND 🏳️🌈 FRIENDLY. Both PEDRO & PEDRO, LAUR, LILY & SEBASTIAN are great hosts. Very delicious drinks at great prices. SEX ON THE BEACH= best drink on the menu (maybe I’m just being biased). Pool table in the back & a music box. HAPPY HOURS are great it you’re just trying to relax. Friday and Saturday nights are best to interact with a lot more people & make new friends. 10/10 (:

A very relaxed place to be.
No bigots, no fear mongering
People can be themselves here. Friday and Saturday nights are particularly fun. Halloween night thus year was very alive. The bartenders are easy to talk to and very efficient, the man out front is very welcoming, and the crowd is pleasant.
Officially my favorite nightlife spot.

Literally the most accepting bar in town, you can't go wrong for a good night out. Highly recommend those that are open-minded and ready to enjoy the company they keep! ❤️

Some people call it a "dive bar." I call it my Dance Club. 💃😅. It's a hub for an eclectic mix of people who are warm and friendly.
I've lived in The Village, and I've lived in The Castro, but this queer kid never felt more at home than at The SRO.
We were in town for San Diego Pride and stopped in for cocktails. This is one of the oldest gay bars in San Diego and has a really fun old school vibe. The drinks are made well by the friendly bartenders. The prices are very reasonable too. We loved the way the bar was decorated and had fun! You really need to check it out.

Pedro, the bartender with the mustache, is by far the coolest—always friendly and laid-back with everyone.

Smoking inside the bar was too much for my asthma. Didn’t stay. Heavy smoke which is odd ad it was one t-gurl who was doing the smoking. Will not go back.

Rundown, not quaint or cute, and kinda small. Was pretty empty on a Thursday evening but bartender made a good gin and tonic
