I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this Starbucks. Whenever I travel with my family, my daughter and I love starting our vacation mornings with Starbucks. It’s our little tradition. I ordered a Grande Pike and she got a Grande Frappuccino. The total came to $16, and I simply asked the gentleman at the register what I ordered that cost so much.
Instead of a helpful response, I was met with a smug and condescending tone: “I don’t know if you’ve never been to a hotel before, but it’s connected to a hotel, so it’s more expensive.”
Not only was his tone rude and unnecessary, but trying to belittle me in front of my daughter crossed the line. I shouldn’t have expected much from someone proudly sporting a cubic zirconia on his lip. Clearly, class and decorum aren’t part of the uniform here.
We won’t be returning.

I don’t recommend nobody come to this Starbucks they so expensive you have a Starbucks across Harbour They are a scam they will rip you off they even not make your order exactly what you want. I ask for Matcha with the vanilla sweet foam and I said where’s my phone they say oh it’s already melted. They are so bad. They are so expensive. I recommend everybody crossing the street from here and go to Downtown Gala and get your coffee from other Starbucks not this one.

Great location. Right by the hilton bayfront hotel. You can walk to bay area. I ordered a coffee and bana bread. The coffee was good but the banana bread was honestly the worst I've ever had. Come on Starbucks - you can do better than this!

Beware. Standing in line to order a drink while watching an employee removing best by date stickers off yogurt/granola cups. I decided to forgo ordering anything and left. Integrity Starbucks!!

I stopped by this Starbucks during Comic-Con while waiting in line for the FX experience (which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment FX experience). This particular Starbucks was decked out in a SpongeBob SquarePants theme—my absolute favorite! I ordered a SpongeBob-inspired drink with chocolate, and the TV inside was playing SpongeBob clips the entire time, which I loved. To top it off, SpongeBob was even named Employee of the Month. The decorations were super cute, and the whole vibe was fun and nostalgic. I'll definitely be stopping by again next year!

We came to get some coffee after attending a panel at the Indigo Ballroom. I ordered a grande sweet cream cold brew, SO ordered grande shaken espresso. We both ended up paying over $8 each for our drinks. Originally asked if I could use my stars for the splash of cream but was told they can't redeem stars because they're attached to the hotel :(
The staff was friendly and efficient (incredibly efficient actually, given how long the line was), and it was decorated nicely a la SpongeBob for SDCC, but there was definitely some sticker shock.

I visited this location for several days while in San Diego and it was consistently a positive experience. The staff seem genuinely friendly and kind natured, the service was quick, and the store is located right next to the convention center and waterfront. The store never felt busy because they seemed to be getting people in and out efficiently. For anyone looking for coffee and/or a light snack, I would recommend this Starbucks location.

I don’t know how you can’t get a coffee order right when the order is just a black coffee. Somehow that was challenging for them. Didn’t even apologize. I had to bring the order back Five minutes later. The only thing this place has going for it is convenience and a nice outside place to sit.
