I didn’t catch his name but the drive through worker with earrings and a goatee was rude everytime I have came to this location. He had an attitude when I asked him to fix my drink when it wasn’t made right and I think that is unacceptable when I pay $6 for a drink and isn’t made the way I would like it.

I live and work in this neighborhood since the 2000's. I used to have my espresso there every morning at this location, but I realize that Clairemont Cafe has way better service and products.This morning we're in a hurry so I decide to have a coffee with my coworkers at this Starbucks location, but was a big mistake. First, my coworker was trying to place an order, but the barista Victor, couldn't understand or make any effort to understand his Arabic accent, treating him very poorly. It's sad to see so much xenophobic peolple these days.And no surprise: the order was all wrong.The "cherry on the cake" was the "Shift Supervisor" Maggy, saying that I not suppose to call him "damn" just because he did a big mistake. Actually, she was right, I should call him XENOPHOBIC.None of people from the business around this location will be a customer. SHAME ON YOU STARBUCKS!

On Oct 14th morning shift, my boyfriend and I received our drinks and mine was incorrect. He went inside to get it fixed and the manger completely scolded one of the baristas right in front of everybody. This is more of a problem than the barista who made the drink incorrectly. It's humiliating for the barista and very uncomfortable for my boyfriend who now feels bad for creating the situation. The manager was very much in the wrong. That is not how you MANAGE a situation. No one should ever have to put up with an abusive work environment. You talk to them privately no matter how frustrated you are at an employee. That manger needs a serious reality check and needs to work on their problem solving skills.

Exterior appearance: Excellent condition and well maintained.Interior appearance. The same. Maybe a few tables needed cleaning up but nothing serious. Once it gets less crowded we'll see as I'll be hanging out for awhile.Restrooms: Clean.Service: Friendly with a smile. The two baristas I interacted with were both professional, courteous, attentive.Food: Ordered a Tomato Mozzarella sandwich and Venti Caramel Macchiato upside down. Tomato Mozzarella: Warmed up, delicious, tasted great and as expected compared to other sandwiches eaten at other Starbucks locations Caramel Macchiato: Not as sweet as compared to other Starbucks locations I have visited, but still good enough to enjoy and not complain about at all.Overall: Quite satisfied. Great to know they also have a drive through. My first time visiting this location, so I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in the vicinity.Update: 2023.08.07 - Been here a few hours. Happy to notice the employees cleaned up the tables, swept the floors, cleaned up the bathrooms - even though not much traffic there, and an employee went outside to check on the exterior. Reordered the same items as before and happy to note, both items tasted better than my earlier order.

As a byproduct of my work, I find myself working in Starbucks all around Southern California, and this location surely sets the bar for overall experience. ????????????. From the friendly greeting upon entry, to the pleasant order-taking experience, to the nice and prompt conversations, to the cleanly store appearance. My tea was handed to me with a smile and a thank you (which has become increasingly rare in much of the service industry). It was delicious and refreshing, and exactly as I ordered. It is clear that the team is treated with care, and because of that, they have great chemistry. My Friday truly started off well at this location. As I left, I was even invited to come back and told to enjoy my day. I hope my next project is nearby this Starbucks. It's hard to single anyone out because the entire team made my experience so pleasant.
