I enjoy a Starbucks drink every now and then. This is by far the worst service Starbucks I’ve been to though. I would much rather wait in line going through the drive thru than get service here.

Oh Starbucks,🙄
A brand's reputation is built upon a promise of consistency. At this particular Starbucks, that promise is consistently broken. Our recent visit was defined by a complete collapse in professional competence. When a payment display failed, the employee’s ( Kristine ) who I never met and we always go there, only response was a helpless, “I don’t know what to do.” It fell to me, the customer, to direct the situation and insist she call for a supervisor. This is not service; it is a burden placed upon the patron.
This was not an isolated incident, but a symptom of a deeper issue of indifference, further evidenced by another longtime employee ( she never smiles/african diaspora ) who refused to even make eye contact 👀 . It leads to an unavoidable and deeply troubling question: Is the standard of service on El Cajon Blvd. deliberately lower than in La Jolla or Rancho Santa Fe ✔️💯 %. Our community is proud, and we deserve the same level of professional respect ( because WE work VERY HARD ) and the same quality of skilled, engaged Baristas as any other neighborhood. To offer less is an insult. We expect the company we invest in to honor its promise of excellence—universally.
We always TIP our BARISTAS but not today because today we just got served and had NO EXPERIENCE 😫🙄🥺
Thank you ... ☕️😫

I arrived around 10:20 AM, and the barista was unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I attempted to order pastries, there were none available, which seemed impossible. I won't even mention the bitter latte. I definitely won't be returning to this location.
This is the worst Starbucks in the world. I wanted a matcha tea, but apparently, they didn’t have it even though there was an ad for it. Then I ordered a hot vanilla latte, but they just poured cold milk into it. I asked what is this? and they said, It’s a hot latte. I told them, Touch it—how can it be hot when it’s cold?
Okay, they remade it, but the funniest part is that it wasn’t vanilla at all it was some kind of artificial sweetener that tasted like donkey piss. The staff was rude and clearly unhappy.
I have a question for you, employees! Why the hell are you working in customer service if you don’t want to be there? Just to ruin other people’s mood?
Never buying anything there again!
Only one worker who was clearly on the phone with his friend. But it didn't take him too long to notice me. I wanted to get the apple crisp drink they have during this season. But when I asked about it he said they can't make it anymore and that "the season is pretty much over and they don't have anymore of the syrup" this wouldn't bother me so much except for the fact the drink is literally advertised on their menu board. If they don't have it, they should definitely change their menu then.

The coffee machines were down so couldn’t order latte nor plain hot coffee. Had to settle for a cold brew. Clerk was nice but the barista didn’t look like she was happy to be there.

I have never been to a starbucks that only has rude employees. I came here a few months ago and the girl that helped me then was rude. I came today (as I was shopping inside Vons) and the girl that was there today was also extremely rude. I didnt get her name as she conveniently had her nametag flipped.

My husband loves this specific location because he claims that Shiloh, the barista, is the only one who makes his drinks so delicious and sweet and perfect. He refuses to try any other location and even any other barista at this location. Thank you, Shiloh. I apologize if I misspelled your name, by the way.
