Note: this review is based on the assumption that you already know Starbucks doesn't have the best coffee in town (bird rock across the street has much better coffee), and that I'm reviewing this spot as compared to other Starbucks locations. I work down the street from this Starbucks, and stop in here at least once a week. The staff is super nice, especially the guy with greyish hair- shout out to you, dude! I've only had coffee, matcha and chai, and haven't had the food, but Starbucks food sucks in my opinion anyways.. drinks are solid, and I like the outdoor patio. No complaints!

I've been going here for a while I am very satisfied with the customer service now without me even having to say what I want the employees here are so kind and they already know my order when they see me walk in

If you're into eating maggot eggs for lunch, this is definitely the establishment for you. If it was possible to rate in negative stars this Starbucks would be the crowning recipient. I had the displeasure of entering this establishment to grab a quick snack after a full day of surfing the big swell from jova. I was famished. Upon entering the store it was pointed out to me by another customer there was flies trapped in the front display where the food is open for viewing. The woman at the register heard our conversation where she rolled her eyes and said" ya we can't do anything about the flies in there" Here is a suggestion. Open the display case. Let the flies out. Kill them. Get rid of the maggot filled food. And don't expect paying customers to eat fly contaminated food. That is how illness is spread. Where is California department of public health when you need them. Absolutely disgusting. Starbucks; do better. You're fired.

Great little Starbucks and awesome location! Honestly I didn't use the bathroom so apparently it's not that great but I have to say the staff was very nice actually and seating outside is great! Great job to this team.

I've been a regular customer at Starbucks La Jolla for over 1 1/2 years now, and I can honestly say that it's one of the best Starbucks I've ever been to. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and always makes it a point to get to know your name, and the place is super clean and well-kept.I live about 35 minutes away from Starbucks La Jolla, but I make the drive every Saturday morning with my wife. We love the atmosphere at the store, and we always feel like we're getting a warm welcome when we walk in. The baristas are always friendly and helpful, and they always remember our orders. The food at Starbucks La Jolla is also great. I've tried a few of the breakfast sandwiches, and they've all been delicious. The pastries are also fresh and delicious, and the coffee is always brewed to perfection.I highly recommend Starbucks La Jolla to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly atmosphere. I'm so glad that I make the drive every weekend! Here are some additional things I love about Starbucks La Jolla:The store is located in a great spot, right in the heart of La Jolla / Bird Rcok - The app calls it La Jolla & Forward so when you place your order you do it to the right Stabuck. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, so you can find a spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. The store is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the ride, some times there is a nice group, if yoou get there early enough that hands treats for you furry friends.Overall, I think Starbucks La Jolla is a great place to go for a cup of coffee or a quick bite to eat. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it!Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly with the kidsWheelchair accessibility: Parking is on the streets and they have a couple of Handicap spaces.

This Starbucks had one of the dirtiest bathrooms I've ever seen. It's in such a nice area & very busy. If you need to work and be there for an extended period the bathroom lacks attention. I was there early, 8a and the bathroom was pretty messy giving me the impression staff hadn't even bothered to clean from the day before.

Grumpy and rude staff! If you are not happy, stay home! We do not deserve your horrible mood!

Baristas/cashier are so rude here!Just had a horrible experience! After she took my order I didn't get a thank you or asked if I wanted my receipt. I also ordered a sandwich which she forgot about. 10 minutes later I go to the counter to remind her she just looks back at me and proceeds to go and cook my sandwich without a sorry or my bad. The employees look miserable there! Do not recommend going to this location.

Friendly service. Parking can be tough at times and it closes at 6pm!
