Simply FANTASTIC! First time back since the remodel and it's even more magical. We had the chicken and the sea bass and both were beyond description. The drinks too! Starlite is one of those rare places that easily earns its “hard to get a reservation” status. Perfection!

Even though we had a reservation they made us wait 40 minutes outside. If there is gonna such inconvenience at least make a waiting area or give us a call before the reservation and we'll make our plans accordingly instead of waiting for 40 minutes. Our reservation was for outdoor and they made us sit indoor because there was “no available” tables outdoor. If I book a time and a certain seat I should be seated where the reservation was for. The drinks and fries were good. Overall customer service 0/5

Food and service were really good. Staff were kind and friendly. Would go again. Only downside is the parking. Street parking is basically the only option.

We've visited Starlite twice and enjoyed it very much both times. First time, we sat in a very cool booth that simulated sitting in star light. The second time we went to the Cave where we sat at a lovely agate table lit from underneath and were surrounded by tiny mirror tiles, with a waterfall/fountain in the background. Lots of creative cocktails to choose from, all that we've tried have been excellent (and we've tried about half of the drinks on the menu). The food is well-prepared, tastes great, and portion sizes are good.

El ambiente me parece agradable, y la decoración del lugar, el concepto es muy bueno y diferente, pero la comida se me hace  qué les faltaría tener un menú más extenso y que los platillos estuvieran mejor servidos.  un punto a su favor, es que te dan de cortesía un pastel de cumpleaños, delicioso y personalizado

Wonderful ambiance .. decor was eye popping! people watching ( shhhh don't tell anyone🙄) We ordered the Lamb for two, prepared in my opinion to a 5 Star dinning experience Attendees a younger grouping... however as an elder I was impressed how the staff accommodated my age limitations with stairs in the patio area.... changing our patio reservation to the safer area... .. thank you to the staff who were superb accomodating my limitations... ❤️

I went to Starlite with two girlfriends last night. It's very cute, rather dark and romantic, and the food was yummy. We shared a burger, mac and cheese, a veggie salad and an ice cream sandwich!

A transformative experience! The food, the service, the surroundings, the music — everything is fantastic. The chef's salad with Green Goddess was probably the best I've ever had (and who raves about a salad?!). Servers wear snazzy corduroy jumpsuits.

The wagyu ribeye was amazing. The honey ryder was a good cocktail especially because I am not a big alcohol drinker. It was the perfect mix of sweet and strong. The roasted mushrooms weren't what I was expecting but not too bad. Loved the ambiance. I didn't realize how tight it would be in the front entrance. Hostess worked with me and my friend by letting us sit at the bar to eat sooner than our reservation time. The service was great. 10/10

I had the opportunity to visit Starlite in San Diego for the first time yesterday. After enjoying a lovely dinner, my guests and I hoped to relax at the bar for one last drink. Unfortunately, we encountered several challenges with seating. Despite our attempts to clarify our options, the staff informed us that all tables were reserved and mentioned that the kitchen would be closing in ten minutes. After a brief wait, we found a small one-seater table that we accepted. However, shortly after getting settled, Nathan mistakenly cleared our drinks from the table. Following that incident, we were invited to leave, which felt quite ridiculous. Our interactions with the staff, including the manager, felt dismissive and left us feeling disrespected. This experience was disappointing, especially after the enjoyable dinner we had. I believe there is a significant opportunity for management to improve their customer service, particularly in the bar area. Success is not guaranteed, and they should focus on providing the best service across all areas.
