We are there every chance we get to pick up cupcakes or cookies. There are very few places that are so careful about allergies and the staff is always super helpful. For anyone going in for the first time, they don't allow outside food to prevent any cross contamination which we really appreciate.

Starry Lane Bakery is BEST for children and adults with food allergies to really enjoy treats. As an allergy mom,when my daughter with food allergies walks in the bakery,she doesn’t have anxiety and knows that she can get ANYTHING without having an allergic reaction. Amazing people,so kind and patient while we order. Perfect prices!! There are so many options to choose from! I come here a lot and get stuff for my daughter to take to parties. This place can really make your day with great treats.

I recently visited this gem of a bakery in San Diego and was blown away. They specialize in allergen-free baked goods, and every pastry I tried was absolutely delicious. The chocolate cake was SOO good—it’s the one thing I remembered to snap a picture of, but trust me, everything else I tried was just as amazing! As someone who struggles to find good dairy-free treats, this place felt like heaven for my sweet tooth. The service was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for delicious allergen-free desserts in San Diego, this is the spot!

The best most accommodating bakery ever. We go here for our son. I personally don’t have allergies and we still happily come here for the cupcakes and brownies as they taste better than most “allergen-included” bakeries :)
Also, the true test is the bread. It’s the best gluten free bread I have ever had. Which says a lot about every else because it’s near impossible to find good tasting allergen free bread.
The owner is so nice, a true small business worth going out of your way for!
My wife is allergic to gluten and we try to check out gluten free places when we visit new cities. Starry Lane Bakery was definitely a standout. The chocolate torte was delicious and the cinnamon roll was excellent as well! Keep in mind that all of their products are free of the "top 10" allergens (gluten, dairy, etc.) and I still couldn't really discern a difference between their pastries and conventional desserts.

This place is amazing! It’s the only bakery I can go to where allergies are not on my mind(peanuts, Tree-nuts and shellfish). And the baked goods are great. It’s amazing to have a bakery where I don't have to worry about my allergies without sacrificing flavor. I highly recommend this bakery.
I’ve been coming here (addicted to the cinnamon rolls) since I moved to SD in 2018. I went recently for the first time in a while and gotta say, the cupcakes are incredible and seemed so much better than I remember them being. One of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had, gluten-free or not. GF cake/cupcakes are not easy to perfect, but they’ve figured it out.

I'm not going to lie, I came in with low expectations because the bakery is free from the top 10, and I only need gluten free. I've had some gross things from gf/vegan bakeries. If you are like me I would encourage you to come try some things! I was so impressed with the treats I got! The sweet trainee was so pleasant too, thank you!

Amazing! The pretzel rolls are sooo good. We haven’t had a roll that good since going gluten free. I wish we lived close to this bakery. We also bought 8 cupcakes and they were so good and super moist! I love gf bakeries. It’s so nice for our celiac son to be able to go into a gf bakery and be able to eat anything!

I stumbled upon this bakery in 2018. I have been a fan ever since. I live in San Bernardino but my aunt is in SD and this bakery adds to the excitement of visiting SD. I will be there next week and I am dreaming about the bread rolls and cinnamon rolls. A must stop for anyone gf! ??
