I just celebrated my birthday there 12/02 and let me tell you...EVERYTHING was just perfect! The staff (warm and welcoming), food (tasty), and ambiance was just great. You're not rushed, so you get to really sit and enjoy your meal. I wish I could rate the experience more than just 5 stars.

This Steak 48 location replaced Searsucker, which was known to be the escort bar of Del Mar. Steak 48 thankfully is a lot more upscale and much more delicious. I have been to many Steak 48 locations all around the country this being the newest one.
