Stella Jean's Ice Cream Pacific Beach

I live in Arizona and walking my found this place. To sum it up I’m addicted to this ice cream. Every time we go to San Diego I have this ice cream 2 to 3 times a day.

This was one of our favorite places in Carlsbad! Delicious ice cream (and yummy waffle cone) to enjoy in a cozy seating area!

According to my kids: insanely good ice cream, with great flavors and perfectly sized!

I was so disturbed by the streak of 5 stars had to chime in - the worst ice cream we've ever had to the point we threw it in the trash. More expensive than Handel's too. They also didn't have to-go lids...? Friendly employees though

Ice cream and pie were both delicious. The berry lemon hand pie is so fresh and sweet, love that all the flavors can be tasted.

I love this place. So much. My favorite is the mango sticky rice ice cream, but they have so many great flavors, including seasonal flavors. Once you try them, you'll want to go back here every day.

ube/toffee is amazing. i don't usually like ube much but with the toffee just synergizes super well. on par with classic vanilla or chocolate.

texture is gooey and solid. also the scoops are massive??

waffle cone is very meh.

Great late night option for your ice cream fix! Saw the mango sticky rice flavor on social media from Utah and had to come try it. A great range of gluten free and vegan options—all flavors were incredible. Would recommend the single split scoop in a waffle cone for the full experience. Grab your cone and enjoy the indoor & outdoor seating or go take a walk along the beach.

We tried the guava cheesecake, mango sticky rice, and s’mores flavors, and they were all absolutely delicious! Each flavor was unique and packed with so much taste—it was hard to pick a favorite. The guava cheesecake was creamy and refreshing, the mango sticky rice had the perfect balance of sweetness, and the s’mores brought that classic campfire treat to life in ice cream form. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for fun, flavorful, and unique ice cream!
