Food was on the expensive side and eggs tasted like carton eggs unfortunately. The dinner was cute and service was good.

Disappointed
I had high hopes for this place, especially since it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, something felt off. The waitress seemed hesitant to bring a drink before everyone was seated, which was odd. The other employees didn’t seem enthusiastic either. It’s a shame because the decor is really nice and the place was clean.
The food, however, was just okay. The meatloaf melt was mostly tasteless, and the cheese sticks were cold. The tuna melt definitely wasn’t made with the best tuna. On a positive note, the onion rings were good. Maybe we just came at a bad time, but overall, I was expecting more from a diner with such a reputation.

Classy and fun diner like something from the 50's, very nostalgic! The food is great and there's a wide selection. Parking is free and there's a huge parking lot next to it open to its customers.

My family and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy when we arrived so we were seated right away.

We ordered a bowl of French onion soup, a bacon cheese burger, mozzarella sticks, a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, coconut shrimp and a vanilla and chocolate syrup milk shake.

All items arrived within 20 minutes that we ordered.

The burger was good, along with the mozzarella sticks. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious, and the coconut shrimp tasted very good. The coleslaw was very bland and not very flavorful at all. The french onion soup itself with the grated cheese tasted great. However, they placed a large piece of bread on top, between the soup broth and the cheese topping, and it was just soggy. I didn't end up eating that since it wasn't very appealing to me.
The milk shake was great, and we ended up taking home some leftovers to eat the next day. Our son ordered a piece of NY style cheese cake to go. He said it wasn't very tasty either, so he only ate about 2/3rds of it.

Will probably visit again and try some other entrees, just not the cheesecake, coleslaw, or soup.

Parking: There are a limited # of pkg spaces in front of the diner, but there is a larger pkg lot 1 driveway further down that you can also access to park, and then walk over to the diner.

Service is up and down here but they did allow a dog in the other day to dine I side versus the designated patio. One waitress told the man, but another kid, he said let him, the man with the dog agreed and said they let us before. The waitress gave in. It's a hard time when the customer is always right in this time when customer service is lacking as well.

Overall it's a step above Denny's with similar food

The vibes here are amazing. It's an old school type of diner, I believe from the 1940s. The food is decent, but the milkshake was AMAZING, probably the best shake I've ever tried. The hash browns tasted a little bland which was unfortunate. Service is great. There's not much parking here so you might need to park elsewhere if it's really packed.

Not too happy to find out that they no longer sell the fried clams or the lobster rolls. Very bummed out as this is a New England staple.
