I bought a cake here very delicious
We visited the store to buy bread and it was dirty, the display cases had flies and the bread was no longer good and very hard. I was not impressed with the quality or service of this place.
So I have been to the location in San Marcos and was so excited to learn of this location while in San Diego. The whole family loves the Pan and Bolillos. The Puerquitos are perfectly shaped and moist. The Oreja are light & flaky and even the Mantecada have a sugar crust that give it a slight crunch. Also love the cream cheese Danish with jelly, the best for breakfast or even a night delight with a cafecito. Also finally got to try one of their Tortas, the chipotle sauce was the kind of hot that made your mouth burn with each bite. I got the Hawaiian, and the sweet pineapple was complimenting the fiery sauce. The neighborhood was a little dodgy yet you usually find gems like this place here. Also they had a taco truck parked in front of their shop so more food options. We will always stop here when coming down to SD to get our sweet tooth fix.
Parking: All of San Diego is just so condensed and so many cars on every street.

Came here specifically looking for a tres leches cake (pastel), and we're very happy to have found multiple flavors of tres leches cakes. Service is ok, but slow. They are looking to hire more help, and it's needed. Place is popular, and saw people in and out during our 1 hr visit.

I wasn’t fond of the bread, it was stale and there was a fly inside the bread display. I will find an authentic bakery with better quality.

Everything here is delicious, the creme and pineapple empanadas, the muffins, croissants, and of course the tres leches cake. Reasonable price for the quality. Fresh product even later in the day. Highly recommend.

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s graduation, and it was beautifully customized and with great flavor. They exceeded my expectations.
I Highly recommend this place.
Thank You??
Pero que guao!! I didn't know this place existed and it's open late! My kind of spot! It was a simple torta of beans & cheese, BUT the bolillo, Dios mio, the bolillo was fresh, soft and flaky just a bit... it was delicious ?. I totally forgot to take a picture. It's so yummy and may have a nostalgic effect depending on how you were raised. I also took a few pieces of pan dulce home... definitely my preferred spot for pan dulce. The name is so fitting. Thank you for existing!!

One of my favorite places hands down! I stumbled upon it one early morning waiting for the bus it's a hidden gem , but at the same time not because it's always busy , witch means the stuff is always fresh . The bakers and cashier's are always sweet and me being a little white chick I never feel awkward in there . Try it once and you'll fall in love

I was researching the best place to order a Tres Leches cake in San Diego and this bakery kept popping up. I ordered a round Mocha Tres Leches cake for my husband’s birthday a week in advance and it looked and tasted delicious! Perfect amount of moist and lots of fruit on top.
The place had many 2-4 person tables available and it was pretty busy on a Thursday morning, which is how you know this place is good! I was in a bit of a rush to pick up the cake, so unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try their other pastries.
Highly recommend Su Pan for their Tres Leches cake!!
