If you’re looking for a seafood feast that satisfies every craving, this is an absolute must-try. From the moment the dish arrived, the aroma of fresh spices and buttery goodness was irresistible.
The crab legs were perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, while the shrimp and mussels practically melted in my mouth. The seasoning was spot on—buttery, garlicky, and delicious! The addition of corn, potatoes, and sausage completed the meal, soaking up all the savory juices for a satisfying bite every time.
Not only was the food impeccable, but the portions were generous. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere made the messy, hands-on dining experience even more enjoyable.

My family and I have been to this place twice, and their food and service are exceptional each time. My favorite is the seafood fry sampler, but everything is top-notch. The lady who serves there is charming. We” 'll go back. Thanks, Submarine staff, for being amazing 🤩
Bag big enough for 2 for about 60 bucks, crab plus a pound of shrimp. Very good. Price about exactly the same as other boils, maybe a few bucks cheaper

I've tried a lot of different seafood boiled and this one is my favorite! The flavors is on point! It coats the outside of the seafood but it also seep into the meat of the seafood so the seafood did not taste bland at all.
Everything is so well balanced and flavorful. I also go the garlic noodles. It was ok. The coconut snails was also good.
I love that they give you a side of the sauce to dip in and they are very generous with the fillers such as corn, sausage, and potatoes.
I would definitely recommend 10/10.

The first time my husband ordered this to go and I wasn’t pleased. That was 3 years ago. The last 2 times I had it this year and it was very good. I get the oysters and the seafood boils.

When we(3 people) arrived, we were told to sit wherever, there was a couple other tables with people already eating and a man who was sat right before us. The gentleman ordered, and then they came and took our order. The gentlemen ordered a combo 2 with fries, and we just got a combo 1. Then a party of 4 came in 20 mins later and a party of 4(plus a baby) about 5 mins after them. The guys food came out. The server took the orders of the other 2 parties.... and we waited.... and waited.... and waited the party of 4 got their food... and we waited... party of 4 had more food come out... 45 mins later (guy who came in with us had almost demolished his entire dinner which was more food than we ordered) the server finally remembered us and tells us they forgot our food (obviously he forgot us too and hadn't even bothered to check on us or the food until that point) I was ready to leave but he said it would be right out. Our food FINALLY comes out, and right after ours comes the table of 4 with the baby. The food was ok.... but definitely nothing special, there was only 1 piece of corn in the bag, maybe 2 potatoes and 5 pieces of sausage. The Crab Hut is busier but definitely better! So the guy who came in at the same time as us received his food (larger order than ours) and was able to eat most of it, the party that came in 20 mins AFTER us and had way more food had time to Order and eat and get more food out to them before ours finally came out immediately followed by the table who came in 30ish mins after us and had ordered way more than us' food came out.The server made an excuse about the kitchen staff but didn't try to make it right in any way, we were very disappointed by this place and the service. The restaurant wasn't busy by any means. AND then when we went to pay, he tried to charge us over $220!!! He was charging us for the table with 4 people (THAT'S HOW BIG THEIR ORDER WAS - they came in 20 mins+ after and got served first). I put my card in the machine (hand held) and almost paid it, but I noticed the amount right before I was about to put in the tip and yanked my card out. Again, no apology, just oh, that's their bill. Let me pull yours up.... our was like $70... so 1/3 of what the table of 4 had....

We spent $70 for a delivery including a $10 tip. We received 2 claws and 2 small crab legs the shrimp was mushy and unedible. This is the second time that my order was like this. But first time shame on you second time shame on me. It will not be a third time??!!!

Much less wait time than crab hut, but the quality was lower. Nice specials, but I didn't enjoy the crawfish or the crab.

love this place! besides the good flavors and cooking, here are where this spot shines over other seafood boils:- the gloves aren’t the cheap loose ones that make it easy to make an oily mess on your face- the corn here just tastes better/is marinated better- the sides and appetizers are so good here! Also the cajun fries are seasoned better than other spots!

Really enjoyed the meal but I think I got food poisoning from the oysters. Looks like there may be a bad batch going around as I’ve seen it at other restaurants too recently. Just a heads up on that for the staff!

Probably one of the best places to go for a seafood boil. Perfect spice level, and great value compared to many other local places. A hidden gem in San Diego for sure. I especially enjoy their shrimp combo with the torpedo sauce mix, as well as their Cajun fries.

Food and atmosphere is good but for love of God......why are you putting food in the plastic bags? Plastic forks? Plastic cups? Is this all getting thrown to the landfill? Also it is not healthy to expose people to possible BPA.
