Cupcakes are SO good

This is an Uber eats pickup location, not an actual bakery. You can order online when you get there and pick up a bad cupcake from a locker (??) the cupcake tastes like Betty Crocker cake mix, kind of artificial and not a hint of real chocolate, the whole thing was super chilled and the frosting was frozen solid. No idea what’s going on.

Renato made the cupcakes and cake for our wedding and they were ALL delicious! We had multiple friends ask where we got our desserts from, they were that memorable. Thank you so much!

Friendly owner, very delicious brownies (bearownies), amazing tasting hazelnut coffee. If you don't know what to get, there's a sampler box of all main brownies for two people. Highly recommended if you have a sweet tooth.

Happened to be walking by this little Bakery and stopped in. Their treats are amazing! They had these pumpkin cream cheese stuffed cookies that were so good I ended up going back the second day and buying another pack of them, and was super disappointed they only had one left (which I quickly snapped up to bring back home with me). Their cake pops are super rich and almost dense to a similar texture of a brownie, and their cupcakes were just as outstanding as well! Also the owner could not have been nicer of a guy, and was so friendly and welcoming, and even offered to bake cupcakes at the last minute for my husband's birthday the following day even though we were out of town. If you're looking for a GREAT little bakery with homemade fresh treats in the heart of The Gas Lamp district in San Diego, this is it!! A must try sure. Also their prices are outstandingly reasonable and not at all what I was expecting to pay given the area, which made it all the more better!

We bought 4 different cupcakes and 2 dog treats. When we got home and removed the treats from the packaging, we realized that the backs of the treats were covered in mold so we had to throw them away. The cupcakes were awful too. They tasted like they were made out of boxed ingredients that you can buy at Walmart for $0.50.

We had the pleasure of having Sugar Bears provide our three tier wedding cake at our recent wedding in La Jolla. The cake itself was absolutely amazing very rich in flavor and did not disappoint! We would recommend the red velvet, cheesecake, and carrot cake options they were excellent. We provided an image of what we wanted our wedding cake to look like and they were able to provide us with an identical cake. We were grateful for how everything turned out. Great work from the team much appreciated!

Stopped at this cute bakery during Comic Con. Staff was welcoming and wonderful. Interior design was somewhat whimsical. We ordered quite a few items. I love a good brownie every now and then and decided to order one. Let me start by saying the brownie was yummy. However, the amount of icing on it matched the depth of the brownie. It was way too much for me. The presentation of their baked goods was definitely appealing. If I’m ever in the area again, I will try another treat from this lovely bakery.

Absolutely delectable! Everything has delicious texture! You can tell the intricacy in the taste. Delicate and exquisite…will bring joy to your soul! Lovely people work here too! A beautiful assortment of desserts, something for everyone. It’s hard to pick just one thing lol. I came in for one cupcake and walked out with 6! This bakery is definitely love in your mouth. Will be back whenever I’m in town. :)

Met the owner, Renato, and he was a class act. What was even better? Those damn brownie bites.

I do not need anymore temptation in my life but you only live once. They were a big hit at my office and if you’re once of my customers or friends I might surprise you with a brownie bite gift. Absolutely delicious.

Peanut butter brownie bites! Sampled at the Encinitas Rotary wine and food festival. Beautiful display and the best brownie bites and cupcakes I’ve ever eaten; beyond delicious.
