The shaved ice is approximately $15 each, the portion is large and good to share with 2 or 3 people. We like the macha, black sesame and mango flavors. Coffees are meh.

It's so delicious and the ingredients are plentiful!! Filled with red beans and matcha powder. It’s not ice, it’s snowflake shaved ice, so it’s soft><Highly recommend matcha shaved ice

No wi-fi. I likee working here while having tea and a dessert. But they stopped offering wi-fi so I stopped going. Bummer.

This place is always poppin and busy in this little plaza! I wanted something light but that fulfills my cravings for sweets, so of course Korean shaved ice was the answer. There's not much of a line for this place compared to somi somi which wasnext door but it's because Bingsoo is more cultural then the somi somi ice creams. The strawberry cheesecake was the best option but we opted to try the black sesame and I loved it. Will definitely be back

This location was located right next to Somi Somi. But since Somi Somi always has a line, I came to this place. The atmosphere is loud since it's usually crowded and all the seats are taken although there is no line at the register. Service from staff is good. I came at night time craving for some soft-serve but this place had shaved ice. I was told that majority of the bingsoo are powdered while the fruits are fresh. I was recommended the Fresh Mango Bingsoo and it didn't disappoint. But the strawberry cheese bingsoo was definitely not to my liking. I had one taste and I regret ordering it. It tasted like I was just eating rundown water covered in cheese. Overall, it was an okay experience but I'd still come back to try other flavors.

It's right next to somi somi but this place doesn't have a line. I'm not sure why cuz I'd take bingsoo over the other place any day of the week. My go-to is the injeolmi bingsoo. It has a Koreansweet rice powder over the milk shaved ice. I also like the Oreo bingsoo. It's light and not too sweet. I like this in the summer and winter. (But sandiego winter is like everyone's mild fall.. lol) It is noisy and packed here so try to get a corner seat. The overflow for somi somi will sit here too.

I believe this is the first bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) I've ever tried, let alone in San Diego. They give you a tall amount of it too so we shared this among a group of 6 but it's so light we could have shared another. We loved that they layered the toppings so we had strawberry sauce and cheesecake pieces on top and in the middle. I do wish the bingsoo itself was more flavorful because it tasted like ice with a hint of milk (though this may be how it's supposed to be and I just am not as acquainted with bingsoo). I was thinking the bingsoo was going to be a strong strawberry or cream cheesy flavor but it was pretty watered down. I'll have to try their other flavors like taro or black sesame to see how flavorful those are. Our order did come out very fast and there's tons of seating inside.

def the best shaved ice in san diego. sul and beans is the place to go if that's what you're looking for, and somisomi is connected right inside. i've been going to this place for years since i was young too. service is decent, seats r hard to get if it's busy, but it's always a good place to hangout with friends and family.

I feel like the quality of the shave ice went down since I last visited. The "fresh" mango didn't taste so fresh. I suppose this is because we went towards the end of the day.

Earl Grey bingsoo is another 5/5! I've never had a bad flavor of bingsoo here. The cream on top is delicious and the earl grey flavor wasn't too light or overpowering. I always ask for condensed milk on the side. The taiyaki isn't extra special or anything, but it's still solid. They have hotteok filling for the taiyaki, which I'd never seen before but I don't know why as it works really well! The custard was good too, but the hotteok filling is addicting.

We had the earl grey Bingsoo and it was very tasty. Very strong earl grey flavor and the snow was soft and melted nicely. The cream on top was sooooo good too!

Super refreshing shareable shaved ice desserts! The Mango is always good, the strawberry cheesecake is also great! Injeolmi is O.K. but I prefer the fruity flavors.
