Sunright Tea Studio - Rancho Peñasquitos

Ordered a Matcha Latte w/ Pistachio Cheese Foam. I am not sure why I was given a cup that I believe is meant for hot drinks, and because of that I could not see what my drink looked like under the cheese foam. When it comes to matcha drinks, looking at the color of the drink is somewhat an important part of the experience. The drink was good actually but I didn't really taste matcha at all.

This is the best local boba spot near the Carmel Mountain area.

My sister and I decided to try this place, it had good reviews and a nice aesthetic, website, cups and all. We ended up ordering their matcha latte drinks with pistachio foam. These matcha drinks tasted watered down and didn’t carry much of a strong matcha flavor, the same went for the pistachio foam. We honestly couldn’t really taste the pistachio flavor in the actual foam. Overall these drinks were a huge let down. It’s really unfortunate that a lot of boba shops fail to make matcha drinks that actually taste like matcha…

I had lunch next door and decided to get a boba drink to go. It was on a weekday afternoon so the place was pretty empty. We ordered from the kiosk machine.

The grapefruit tea with boba was delicious! It had slices of fresh sweet grapefruit in it and the boba was soft.

We enjoy their pudding boba milk tea 50% sweet! Perfect creaminess from the pudding and sugar level at 50 or 25 isn’t too overboard.

Best Boba I've had in San Diego! Service was very good, and the store was well-run and timely due to their owner. Boba was very fresh and they make it right in front of you. I highly recommend!

Ecstatic to see Sunright come to North County. They make some of the best boba black milk tea in the US, and this franchise is consistent with the rest!

This is a great boba place. Their milk tea tasted fresh and authentic with good boba and great sweetness. Their cup holder was cute with Omori anime characters. The service was fast and friendly.

They made my drink pretty quickly and it was really good!! Nice to have a boba place next to home. :)

They offer the standard franchise drink as the brand comes to Rancho Peñasquitos. One can only order on the Kiosk machine. They do not have the tables and seats for coffee chat but only the waiting seats for the drink. Might face a not-so-short waiting time even on weekday nights.
