Stopped into Super Dumplings looking for some dumplings since I was at the center running errands. Was very surprised about the deliciousness of the place. The dumplings were quite plump and juicy. My daughter loved it all including the rice cakes. Ordered the spicy cucumbers, chili wonton, pork, shrimp, and chives dumplings, potstickers yang Zhou fried rice, and the pork rice cakes. We were also going to order the Xiao long bao but felt we already over ordered for just two. Ended up with another meal. Overall portions are a great size and everyone enjoyed the meal. Service was very quick and our food came out fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our lunch and will be back.

I had a take out. People were rude. A woman asked me my phone number to verify for a pick up. but she just ignored me after I gave her my phone number. The second person kept asking me the order number on the text but I did not receive the text. And she asked me if I ordered online or not. Even I clearly said to her that i order online but she kept asking me the same questions. Maybe she had English limitations? Luckily I had the website order opened so I was able to give her the order number although I did not receive the text. Food was just ok. I had eggplant dish , which was very greasy.

To preface this review: we have only ordered dumplings and take-out from this restaurant, but each time it has been great.
Service has always been good with staff being attentive, polite, and helpful. While we haven't dined in, diners all seemed to be enjoying their meals and the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy.
The dumplings we've ordered (Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Shrimp & Pork Wontons in Chili Oil, and Pan-Fried Pork & Chive Dumplings) have all been freshly made and delicious. Prices seem to be consistent with other dumpling places, but we feel they were much larger here, making them a better value. I highly recommend the pan-fried dumplings; the crisped sides were so good even for take-out.
We will definitely be back to try more and for the dine-in experience.

The service was very disappointing. After we were seated, we immediately felt rushed. They took our physical menus away. Which I didn’t mind since they offer ordering through the app but I specifically asked to keep one menu and still wasn’t able to. The waiter continued to rush us while we were eating. He told us it was “last call” to order because they were closing even though there was still about an hour left before closing time. We went ahead and ordered one last dish, but as soon as it arrived, the waiter asked if we wanted a box to go. It was confusing and frustrating why offer a last call if we weren’t actually given time to enjoy the food?
To make matters worse, he brought the check while we were still eating and stood nearby staring at us, waiting for payment. My boyfriend had to stop mid-bite just to pay because it felt so uncomfortable. By the time another staff member asked us how the service was, we were already upset. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling rushed and unwelcome, which really took away from the meal.

Came here with a few friends on a Saturday morning. They were not too busy so we got a table immediately. After reviewing the menu, we ordered:
- XLB (8pc) 13.95: The wrapping was a bit dry on a few of them but they were tasty on the whole
- shrimp and pork wontons in chili oil (8pc) 14.95: These were my favorite. I liked the flavor of the chili oil and used it for the other dumplings as well.
- Pan fried pork and chive dumpling (8pc) 13.95: The texture of these are really nice.
- Steamed pork and chive dumpling (8pc) 12.95: I enjoyed these as well.

Overall, this is a solid dumpling spot. They are in a lot that has a lot of parking, and service is just fine. When in the mood for dumplings, I will definitely come back.

I ordered the assorted dumplings and cucumber salad. Both were amazing and served within a reasonable amount of time. The staff was attentive and answered all questions that I had. Location is nice for lunch setting and great for a quick get away from work.

This is a newly opened Chinese restaurant in San Diego. The dining area is clean and bright, the location is easy to find, and parking nearby is fairly convenient. When you walk in, you can see the chefs making dumplings on the spot, which really gives you confidence that the ingredients are fresh.

I ordered the pan-fried beef dumplings with onions, xiao long bao, and red chili oil wontons. My favorite was the beef dumplings — the wrappers were tender and smooth, and the filling was juicy and flavorful. Highly recommended!

One note: the desserts are not made in-house, so they’re skippable.

Just came from this place with my family and I will never go again. The foods are way off from even basic Chinese foods taste and flavor. I wish they don’t call themselves a Chinese restaurant because it really makes me feel bad about other good local Chinese restaurants. The quality in here does not contribute good to any of the reputations to Chinese food. Please go to Convoy st for relatively real ones.

Awesome Chinese food—everything is almost perfect. If I have to be picky, there’s only one thing that bothers me quite a little: all the serveware is plastic except the bamboo steamer.

Unhappy Customer

When I arrived to pick up my order there were about 10 other customers standing around waiting for their orders. One of them said they had already waited 45 minutes. I had a small order---only had to wait 15 minutes past promised time. When I got home and starting the discovered that the food was luke warm (had probably been sitting for some time). Not sure I would recommend going there. It was my first time and maybe my last.

Great little spot for dumplings in del Mar. I hope we for more places like this in the future.
