Surati Farsan Mart in L.A/ Artesia is LEGENDARY for its chaat (Indian street food/ snacks), so we just had to visit the San Diego location a week later on our SoCal travels!
This location is WAY more convenient to dine-in, quieter with plenty of seating space.. also much less chaotic ?? Sit down with the whole fam and enjoy a nice Indian meal here! Rarely give a five star. But this modestly prices store that offers a restaurant and store has the assortment of delightful Gujarati food. We tried vada pav, pani puri, bhel, thali and all were delightful. Ordered a spectrum if sweets and snacks. Chakli was amazing. Topped off with some chai. Warm and spices well. The rotis could be fresher in the thali.
We loved the snacks and sweets assortment in this shop. However, surprised to have not found Dhokla during our visit.We got some Jalebis packed for friends, which were nicely packed and turned out to be delicious !Would recommend to try their meals as well. I haven't tasted but was told they are good.
