This standard sandwich spot offers fresh ingredients and solid menu options, serving up "gnarly grub" with premium meats, fresh baked bread, and crispy veggies. One of their standout sandwiches is the Admiral's Avocado Delight. The sandwiches are so good, the bread is fresh, and the atmosphere is fitting for a locals-only eatery. They also have a dog-friendly patio. The Nimitz is a favorite, and the #14 Dominator sandwich features "hand spanked meatballs." While the chips and soda are good, the potato salad is a standout at a 10 out of 10, though it only comes in a small portion. Staff are friendly and provide quick service, making it an awesome place to enjoy a unique experience of So Cal living. Parking can be a little tricky at times. However, some loyal customers have been saddened by the discontinuation of their beloved peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, which were a big draw for many.
