The sushi deli one block from Convoy was great, fresh and large portions. Prices are fantastic. It was a little over $10 for a caterpillar roll. A dragon roll was $14 and the bento boxes which come with miso soup and a drink were $11 m-f till 2:30pm. The prices are crazy good and the food was great.
Parking can be tricky, they have no parking lot just street parking available so be ready to walk a bit.
Price, value and over all good food, we will be going back!

Very good sushi for the price. If you’re in the mood for some unauthentic Americanized sushi rolls instead of gourmet omikase, it’s a good spot.

Stopped in for a late lunch and was impressed with both the food and the service. We started with avocado tempura, crab lagoon and the monkey brains, all were delicious. The monkey brains have spicy tuna with crab wrapped around it and then tempura. We tried a number of rolls and liked them all. Our waitress helped us decide and everything was great. All the staff were very helpful.
Parking: There is a small parking lot behind the building, but if there’s no spots back there, you have to park on the street. It’s not right on Convoy Street so street parking is a little better.
Kid-friendliness: We took the kids and they loved it

Large variety of dishes to pick from. Teriyaki chicken was pretty dry, but it is a sushi place! Very delicious and great, quick service.
Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten free options

This place has wonderful vegetarian options and I love the layout of the restaurant. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of specials at any given time as well.

As a small, local, casual eatery Sushi Deli 3 is a lively sushi house where you can consistently count on getting pretty good sushi rolls, bento boxes, ramen, and other creative menu items. In a sea of high priced sushi places, here you will find very reasonable prices. There's even a happy hour to shave a few bucks off of appetizers and drinks.
Staff is friendly, competent and service-oriented. Atmosphere is energizing and colorful. It's a place to go to for the vibe in as much as the food.
Vegetarian options: There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant. Ample street parking except for on busy nights.
Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly. Every time we bring our 2-year-old, the staff has been very helpful. Usually we are seated in a section with other kids.... I think they like to keep the little ones in the same area.

The servers were excellent—very attentive and frequently checked in to ensure everything was going well. However, when the small plates were brought over, two of them still had big chunks of wasabi and soy sauce on them. We ordered the Shogun and 4X4 combos, fried calamari, and tonkotsu ramen. Unfortunately, the sushi rice was dry and overly compacted, making it unpleasant to eat. The ramen broth was a 4/10 and not particularly memorable. Despite the outstanding service, I don’t think I would return for the sushi or ramen, especially with so
many other options available nearby.
