Sushi Deli is a massive fan favorite for all of our friends and family. Yui, the owner, is so kind and is actually helping cater our wedding with all of our favorite dishes from here!! We’ve been regulars at the bar with G, who is awesome. My fiancé and I are vegetarian and we’re never short on options when we come here. An absolute gem in San Diego?

Unlike rush hour 3, this 2nd sequel was good

Sushi snobs should avoid. 15 bucks for 16 pieces of sushi is a steal for sure, but you 100% get what you pay for. The portions are on the smaller side. The rice doesn't taste fresh. Extremely small pieces of fish on top. You'll get your fill of imitation krab though so look forward to that.Again, maybe a good spot to come hang for cheap sushi and drinks, but life is all about finding spots that are the perfect balance of value and taste. This just isn't worth for me. Great decor tho!

It's not first come first serve restaurant. Dry & throat scratching sushi, experienced poor customer service, we served by long hairy unkind male server. Not recommended!

The food is always very tasty . Portions are perfect, enough to fill one person. Parking is not directly next to restaurant. At night time parking lot has no light, its a bit scary. During dinner time it gets very crowded. There is always a wait of Half hour to an hour. During the weekend dinner time do not go there very hungry, have a snack before the wait to get a table. Its such a busy place that you have to overlook customer service, its a hit or miss. Also if you get irritated by loud and obnoxious people, Don't go there . It is a very loud place, families with children with no discipline or table manners.Kid-friendliness: They have kids ManuWheelchair accessibility: Big wooden ramp entrance

Always get the monthly sushi for lunch, it never disappoints.

Wait took FOREVER something like an hour and a half which is ridiculous, but the food is worth the wait. We love the garlic edamame and tuna poppers for appetizer, sushi is great!

This is quality sushi, for an affordable price. I have been going here for years and I’ve never been let down. 10/10 would recommend!

Came here on a Tuesday night and made it for the happy hour deals. The service was so great and quick, the food was delicious and it was a great price. Overall, everything here was really good. My fav was the crab lagoons, full full full of crab meat.

Came here with my coworkers to chill and have some food. We ordered the Baja California (Inside: Crab surimi & cucumber. Top: Avocado, pico de gallo, crunchies, cilantro w/ dynamite sauce & ranch). The restaurant actually screwed up and accidentally made 2 of these so we got one of the rolls free of charge. My friends ordered the Caterpillar (Inside: Eel, inari & cucumber. Top: Avocado, sesame seeds w/ sweet sauce). Overall nice sushi place that we've been to a few times and the lunch specials are the best.
Absolutely love this place.Everything was five star..prices food service ..wow...

LOCAL Favorite...I'm a hot hot, and fried type of sushi diner, but chose to bring my MamaSisFrnd for her 1st Sushi Deli-3 experience with some sashimi this time*!*. So so good it was, and the miso soup that's missing from the picture didn't stand a chance. Nice nippy SD day was filled with good food!!! I can't remember the nice Asian young-man who has been there for a while, but he was so on top our table along with his portion of the back room.Despite having one aggressively angry table he did well, and I'll update my review with his "True Named Identity" later...I'm the Thai tea boba goes with sushi lady (lol) that he so disagrees with~All in all...always yummy calamari, and quality sushi items to choose from. I have had issues with overcooked calamari there...as only my 2nd order made it in this picture. I was happier after the 2nd batch was served with less toughness. Reasonably priced, and just a place I choose to frequent when a great roll comes to mind/palate.
