Such a hidden gem, our go to place. The staff is always sweet and accommodating of customizations to make vegetarian friendly sushi. Healthy size portions. Love all the other veggie options, especially theâcrispy garlic tofuâ appetizer but PLEASE bring back the old recipe, the new thicker tempura on it is chewy and unpleasant.

2nd time here and we Love it! I was in town visiting a family member and I didn't mind driving my second time to eat here. 1hr away from home but it's worked! Sushi is delicious and FRESH.
This time my family also order Udon and Ramen and they really enjoy it. We will come back.

This is my go to sushi spot In the 56/15 corridor area. I have been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. Their rolls are large, priced well they have a wide variety. Then for the nigiri, they have a lot of fresh fish, just look on their special board and take your pick. I like variety and special fish selection and this place doesnât disappoint. All of the fish are very well priced and I highly recommend this spot for all of your sushi needs.

Great service, delicious food. Love the shishito peppers starter. The sauce was so good I had to dip my sushi roll in it. Also the crispy garlic tofu was so crispy and the sauteed onions and jalapenos, yes!!
Sushi exchange is an underrated sushi spot, tucked away in a quiet plaza. They have a great atmosphere with classic movies and anime playing on their TV. The sushi rolls, hand rolls, and nigiri were delicious, creative, and affordable. The mixed tempera was light and flaky. Outside of the higher end places like Sushi Ota or Soichi, this is becoming one of my new favorite Sushi places!

Been about a dozen times and counting, go-to dish is the prime plate plus a roll here or there.
Prime plate is fantastic and rolls are good for the price. Service is very friendly and quick, and can't complain watching some jet li movies while waiting for our food.

We love this place! One of my favorite sushi spots in all of San Diego, great waitstaff and amazing food! Restaurant itself is on the smaller end, which I actually enjoy as itâs a more intimate setting. Underrated spot which I implore anyone currently reading these reviews to try out!
