Small charming place. The sushi rolls were creative, tasted great, and very reasonably priced. I was full from one roll even though it would usually take one and a half rolls at other places. Best local Del Sur/Carmel Valley place I know of so far.

i live in Germany and i’m not even exaggerating when i say that as soon as that plane lands in San Diego, you bet i’m going to sushi exchange and getting myself a lemon cilantro roll. been there multiple times and they never disappoint. 5/5 stars but i wish i could give it 10/5

Very solid experience here, can't believe we had never been. Service was great, food came out fast, our server had good recommendations and everything was reasonably priced. Crispy garlic tofu, homemade veggie curry, hamachi kama, and a specialty roll (blood orange yellowtail). All 4.5-5 stars!
