Great place, highly recommend it. We were a party of 6 and arrived 30 minutes before closing time. Although it was almost closing time our waitress provided great service, she was very nice. The food was great. I has the deep fried “Vegas roll” jalapeño bomb and the deep fried soft shell crab. Great atmosphere and good vibes.
I've lived in San Diego for 9 years, in my opinion this is the freshest as well as some of the more creative sushi I've had! I only discovered it recently but I keep going back and so far have not been disappointed! Not a big place and not fancy, super simple, the sushi chefs are very engaging and the wait staff are pleasant. Reservations suggested as it gets busy quickly and they don't have that many tables especially inside. Recommended the Sushi Fish Attack Stack as a wonderful shared appetizer for two, lovely presentation and delicious! Highly recommended :-)
Vegetarian options: I'm a pescatarian and have not specifically paid attention to their vegetarian offerings, My guess is not much different than most any sushi restaurant for vegetarians.
