Sushi Hana is hands-down one of the best sushi spots I’ve found in San Diego! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.
Now let’s talk about the sushi—absolutely phenomenal. The fish is incredibly fresh, with melt-in-your-mouth texture and perfect cuts. Their specialty rolls are creative without being over-the-top, and each one is beautifully plated. I highly recommend the Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll and Hana Special Roll—they’re packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. The nigiri and sashimi options are top-tier, too.

This was some of the best sushi I've ever had and I'm so upset I didn't take any photos to share! The Nigiri was incredible, absolutely melt in your mouth quality fish, and all the rolls were amazing as well. The chef was extra attentive to ensuring he put sauces on the side for my rolls as I am gluten free which was greatly appreciated.

The service is always great. They make it very personable. My girls love going there! They don’t rush when ordering and are more than willing to answer questions. The inside is a little small and dated but that is common in this area. When we have orders for pick up the orders are always, right, fresh and on time. The lunch specials are great and very affordable. the portion size is good and dinning in the presentation is nice.
