The food was amazing, it was flavorful and you can taste the fresh ess of the fish. We had a party of 12, 5 kids 7 adults and nobody at the table had a complaint and found something they could enjoy. Me and my wife ordered a jalapeno appetizer the lazy chef the spider roll and the happy wife and it was all gone before we left.

Great sushi place!! The sauce is made in house and taste amazing! I feel like most sushi place i go to are very similar and don't have much that stand out from each other, but this place does!!! The sushi here is amazing!! I love the crispy calamari!!

Except for the drunk lady bothering everyone at the bar, we enjoyed the atmosphere! Good food, good service, great local sushi spot.

Terrible servers. Two different waiters came to our table and neither came back with our drinks. Never even got to put in a food order. One waitress was too busy whining to everyone About her personal life. Don't waste your time. No pic because we never got our order

Excellent sushi and a good price. Not a bunch of “fried stuff” on the real fish. Love it!

Food was not good. Sushi chefs are not well groomed. long hair, face hair, arms hands and knuckles covered in hair. worst sushi in my life

Sushi Lounge is my go-to spot for standout sushi! I particularly love the crispy rice with tuna, perfectly crisp on the outside and silky-loaded with spicy tuna and creamy avocado. It’s a flavor texture dream. Their Happy Wife Roll is a must-order; it has a delightful crunch and fresh layers of fish and avocado.
What really elevates the experience is the service: staff are warm and attentive without hovering, striking just the right balance of friendliness and respect .
Highly recommend this spot: great food, great atmosphere, and the crispy rice is Chef’s kiss!

Sushi was great, creative unique rolls and variety of peppers. However, the rest of food was subpar. The calamari was not good, salty and very thin. The bento box with chicken teriyaki had a few small chunks of chicken, barely any. They forgot to bring us waters, we asked twice. They never offered to refill my tea.
Just stick to the sushi menu.

One of the best sushi places! We live 2 hours away from Point Loma but we have a place in San Diego we visit when we can. We come here. They have a great happy hour. Other times we didn't make the happy hour but still I feel their prices are pretty good. The sushi is excellent, melts in your mouth. They also have teriyaki bowls and plates. Great location, small place, which I love. Service is great, very friendly, fun environment.

Great vibes and delicious food!
Enjoyed ourselves a teriyaki chicken box with so much food! Photos show you the menu for what’s in the box.
We also had two sushi rolls “Zest Diego” and “Chronic Roll“ that was also fulfilling and we all shared. Family friendly as well. I just adored the plants outside as well.

I give 1 star for location. I can't leave a food review because I waited 10 mins for service and left before I could order. Nobody would serve me? I took my business elsewhere
Chicken teriyaki overcooked and about 10 little chopped up pieces of meat laid over a mound of rice. Absolutely crazy they would sell a dish like this compared to the price we paid for everything else we ordered, which is the reason for 2 stars... and yup, I care that much.... But other than that, the Miso is pretty good, lots of flavor. The rolls were also good: Zesty Diego roll, Tasmanian devil, Crunchy roll and the Lazy chef.
