You might miss this gem of a sushi spot hidden in the corner of this shopping venue. Parking is limited in the lot. Great sushi!!!Parking: Limited parking in the lot, may need to park offsite.

Classy place in an odd spot. Food was amazing and service was so quick and friendly. Recommend reservation and the hamachi kama (roasted yellowtail collar).

Sushi rolls were great and very quick service, we were able to go in, order, get our food and pay in around 45 mins.

Amazingly fresh sushi, you can taste the freshness and quality in each bite. Definitely lives up to the hype, first time here and I live within walking distance since 2019. Took the bestie here for her birthday and she too enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

It was the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to in the US, and the uni was especially delicious. It is so crowded that even on weekday evenings it is full, so we recommend making a reservation in advance.

One of the better tasting Sushi restaurants I've tried here in San Diego, likely owing to the fact that there are actual Japanese chefs preparing the dishes. The Tokusen Sushi plate is primary go to dish my family and I order, typically with a crunchy, tempura roll for us all to share on the side. The interior is cute and simple, with a nice ambiance. However, as with everything, there's always a catch. It's small, and so trying to actually eat AT the location will result in a lengthy wait, or the need for a reservation ahead of time, or you might get turned back. The To Go orders typically end up being my go to because of this. And while the food is still better than most Sushi places, it does come at a premium price. The quality actually used to be even better prior to and during the Corona Virus, but inflation seems to have impacted that a little bit.

Made reservation via Open Table. Food was good. Kids enjoyed Udon Noodle soup, and state “it was amazing“. Ordered Asahi beer, Miso glased sea bass, Nigiri’s and miso

Just started dealing with gluten free. Wait staff and chef very helpful in showing me gluten free menu options. Suggest a gluten free choice instead of miso. Also gluten free lunch special would be great. Thank you. Love your sushi. Always excellent.

Like this place me and my wife come here every year for her birthday love the food but they really really need a new hostess. We make reservations every time and they are always late or your table isn’t ready. “Can we get a drink at the bar? No please don’t wait in here wait outside.” I get that it’s a popular place but a little common courtesy would go a long way. Hostess has been consistently rude every time we’ve been here.

In my opinion, this is the best sushi restaurant in San Diego. It’s located in a weird location in PB, but worth the hype. This place is quite pricey, so know that going in.I highly recommend their agedashi tofu, crispy eggplant with spicy tuna and they make a really good salmon dish. I’ve loved all the sushi rolls I’ve ordered here.Definitely make a reservation if you plan to stop by, it’s almost always busy. The parking lot is tiny, so prepare to circle or look for street parking.

Took daughter for the first time to sushi and am so glad we decided to come here. The place is cozy with a non-pretentious vibe. Of course she's one of those kids that was naturally born with expensive taste, so we spent a small fortune on specialty rolls, but the experience was priceless! We will be back...Kid-friendliness: The staff was patient with our daughter as she navigated the various rolls.

Gotten much better over the years. Going early is the key before the tempura smokes the place up.Inventive rolls and good quality sashimi makes this my other sushi stop for SD.
