Great place to grab some sushi and ramen for the kids! They have the Japanese soda's the kids loved as a "special" drink. This is a must try secret sushi spot! You gotta have the amazing fried rice. Cheers.
So happy there's a new Japanese restaurant near home. I tried it out today and the ramen and spice salmon roll were really good. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Sushi Yorimichi is a hidden gem in Linda Vista, tucked away behind a liquor store. The decor has attention to detail, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels authentic. The service is quick, friendly, and attentive. It can get a bit crowded at dinner time, but the restaurant offers an extensive menu with delicious options like the basukazo roll, pan-fried gyoza, nigiri, chirashi, and curry udon. Customers are consistently pleased with the portion sizes, fair pricing, and the quality of the fresh fish.
Recent visitors have noted that the sushi is always fresh and flavorful, with the hand-rolled sushi being a standout for its textures and robust flavors. The Linda Vista roll is praised for its size and delicious taste, while the Rainbow Protein roll is enjoyed, although some feel it could use a bit more flavor. The Philadelphia roll is well balanced, and the vinegar mackerel nigiri and cheese roe rolled omelette have received positive remarks. The quiet, relaxed atmosphere during off-peak hours, combined with efficient service, makes it a great place for a casual sushi meal. Takeout is also quick and maintains the same high quality.
The restaurant also offers a good combo deal, and many believe the chicken karaage, especially with mayo, is some of the best around. The udon dishes are a must-try, and while the vegetable roll may need a balance of flavor, the futomaki stands out with its variety of pickled vegetables. Overall, this world-class sushi restaurant in disguise is seen as one of the best sushi spots in San Diego, providing an authentic experience that keeps customers coming back.
