We stopped into SusieCakes for the first time and were immediately greeted with the warmest service from Maddie! She took the time to recommend her favorite treats, and we could tell right away that she truly loves what she does. Everything in the bakery looked and smelled absolutely amazing — it was hard to choose!

On Maddie’s suggestion, we tried the peanut butter chocolate cupcake and the 7-layer bar (which has pecans and coconut), and WOW — both were incredible! You can really taste the difference in their handmade desserts. The flavors were rich, balanced, and downright delicious. We’ll definitely be back to try more!

Thank you, Maddie, for making our first visit so sweet! 🍰✨🧁😊

I was invited to a birthday party/wedding at a friend's house and was faced with your old fashioned chocolate cake. I cut a narrow, yet tall, slice, and decided to taste. I was waiting for the margarine taste to hit my palate. It didn't come. Instead, my mouth was filled with chocolate taste. I took another bite. The cream inside and icing outside were just perfect. I stared at my plate, hardly believing it could taste like my childhood chocolate cakes. I took another bite (mind you, I wasn't talking to anyone around me, I was so mesmerized). Now I'll be disappointed, I thought. Nope. Bite by bite, top to bottom, the Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake was perfection. It didn't disappoint. Shocked that I had it all (I never expected to finish it) I looked for a garbage can to shamelessly dispose of my empty plate.
Thank you. I will never forget that taste. ❤️

Delicious, beautiful cupcakes. I like a big variety, delicate taste, pretty design, beautiful packaging and timely delivery. Our go-to cupcake place for birthday celebrations at work and home.

I would say I’ve had my fair share of cupcakes. Normal bakeries to famous bakeries. The one I had here (and for the price) was just really a let down. Super dense and dry/crumbly-and I ate it about an hour after buying so it didnt go stale. Maybe they rely on the flavor in the icing to mask that the cake itself isn’t good? Nice staff though

Order a cake for my sister that lives in San Diego because I couldn’t be there for her birthday. I used Uber eats, I paid extra for them wright happy bday color pink. My sister send me this pic. First the sprinkles seems like they just threw them on the cake. Small cupcake was nice gesture, but I wished they could had called me, if that was the case I would just got her cupcakes. I wanted her to have a cake says happy bday and her name. Very disappointing.

Susie Cakes are my favorite!!!!!!!!!! I recently went and I was absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of their cakes.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The selection of cakes was impressive, with a variety of flavors and designs to choose from.

I decided to purchase their vanilla, red velvet and lemon cupcake, and it did not disappoint.

The cake was moist, rich, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. The attention to detail in the decoration was also remarkable.

The staff was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Susie Cakes always meets my expectations and I will definitely be returning for more delicious treats. Highly recommend!

We’ve been regulars at susie cakes for a couple of years now.
Their chocolate cake is the best I’ve had, it’s very soft, dense and moist. No other chocolate cake has come close to what I’ve had at susie’s.
We also tried their apple crumble pie for thanksgiving, and it was tasty and amazing as well!

Andrea and her team always greet you with a warm & friendly smile. They consistently deliver an elevated level of customer service and somehow manage to remember what seems to be every customer’s name as they walk through their doors. I haven’t had a cupcake, cookie or cake that I haven’t loved. Applause and recognition all around to this All-Star team.

These cakes are very mediocre. The bread is not moist. They’re hard. There’s definitely flavor but the cake itself feels stale in the mouth. Won’t not recommend.

I ordered my birthday cake from a wonderful bakery and was absolutely thrilled with it! The 8-inch marble cake was incredibly soft, moist, and full of flavor. The blend of chocolate and vanilla, along with the chocolate chips, was simply delicious. I only wish there was a location closer to me; the trip to Del Mar is definitely worth it!

Carrot cake is so good I would order it as my last meal.

I don’t eat gluten and have had the peanut butter sandwich cookie which was good though sweet but I went last night and got a flourless chocolate cupcake and it was just bad. The cake was dried out and kind of weirdly salty and the buttercream was cloyingly sweet. I threw it away and for an almost $6 cupcake that’s pretty bad.
