Service was quick and efficient. So many great choices for food and sides/shareables. Bar was accommodating to make me a mocktail that was delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating was beautiful. Pricing was higher end but you got good quality food for your money!
Went here last year and it was amazing, so I brought the girlfriend back to share the experience.. reservations were at 8 got in no problem, ordered food and it was out quickly, unfortunately they took the wagyu skewers off the menu. Broccolini was burnt to the point where it had lost all of its flavor so we sent that back so two of the items we wanted were disappointing. Burger was delicious. It was a bit too loud with music and hard to have a conversation without raising my voice. She wasn't happy
The food was delicious. Not very much steak in the steak and eggs. Gave my partner some of my birriaquiles as he felt like he didn't get enough meat but also did not want to order another plate of steak and eggs. Otherwise, it was an overall positive experience! We are South Bag residents and probably wouldn't make the drive up to PB for another Swagyu Brunch. We may try dinner sometime though.
Dude, we were so terribly disappointed. We chose Swagyu to celebrate a graduation. We chose it because we wanted an elevated burger experience. It was nothing but a bust. Our wait service was horrible. We had to ask for flatware, then napkins. Then we had to ask to order our drinks. They didn't come out for 10 minutes. It was freezing outside, so we asked for the heater to be turned on. Nothing happened. After asking for assistance multiple times, we were told that there was no propane left. When we got our food there was nothing but a burger. No sides, not even fries which would cost the restaurant very little. We waited forever for the check after having a tiny $10 milkshake. What a bust. We will never return. It was a horrible way to celebrate a special occasion.
We went to Swagyu again last night. It was great as usual! We had a party of 6, two of us got western burgers, two got the fillet, and the two kids split the mac and cheese. We also had the bread to start, the broccolini to round out the fillets, the fried rice as an appetizer, and the brownie for dessert.
The fries and onion rings were good. I got the single smash burger and feel like it was dressed for a triple; proportions were off. The burger was under seasoned and had too much bun, sauce and cheese -couldn't taste the wagyu. The service was very nice and attentive. It was a good place for our group of 8.
Good: onion rings, my kids cheeseburger, and cucumber salad!! Excellent. Bad: My 70 dollar filet was salty to the point of being inedible. Accompanied by a 4$ side of “au poivre” which appeared to be hoisin out of a jar. I notified staff but was charged 74 dollars for the disaster anyway. We won't be returning unless it's for a burger.
My second time there and I like the restaurant. Some things they can improve. We ordered the special (a large cowboy cut) some of it was perfectly cooked and some of it was raw. When they sliced it for presentation, I would have been easy to wear the undercooked strips in a pan in order to make them all medium rare. The potatoes were crispy as always but wayyyy to salty. The street corn was tooooo spicy. I love spicy, but habanero spicy? Cmon folks. Finally the special included two beers. Not drinks, but beers. I asked about a glass of wine and politely told its beer only. An unnecessary constraint.
We had a great time at Swagyu. The restaurant decor is very pretty with lots of plants and cow skulls. The patio looked so nice, but it was too chilly to sit outside. We over ordered and we're stuffed, so my only regret is that we didn't have dessert. We had the burrata which was everyone's favorite dish, market veggies were charred to perfection, the Parker house rolls were soft and tasty. We had the fried rice which is a meal in itself. The burgers were so good. We added the katsu cheese which was extremely decadent. Service from Alexa and Mason was flawless. Thanks for a great dinner!
Great service, great music, delicious and rich food and a fun environment. Our server made suggestions based on his personal taste, not just trying to upsell to the most expensive item. Did not disappoint! I will be back next time I am in PB.

This was the best steak I have ever had in my life. If I ate this everyday I would kill myself with happiness. The risotto was out of this world. God bless the server who recommended that. I will be back for sure to destroy my credit card statement again. But it will be worth it. And I will leave with another great big smile and full stomach.
Reservation was for birthday but there wasn't any amenities or any questions asked. Food was overtly too salty, but that could just be personal preference. Server was attentive but felt rushed.
We were seated in the lounge despite me having reserved a table. My 13 year old son was stationed in front of a tv overhanging the bar so, needless to say, conversation was limited at best. We ordered 3 sides and 2 steaks. Only one steak and the sides appeared. I asked about the second steak and was told that it had burned so they were cooking another one that would be ready momentarily. It showed up about 20 minutes after the first. Makes no sense to be eating an $80 steak inna lounge chair while half of our party waited for their food. Sides were disappointing. Broccolini was very over seasoned and burrata was a bizarre consistency... almost like it had gone bad. Entirely underwhelming which was sad as the dinner I had there last fall was wonderful. Not sure I'd risk the expense to try them again. Waiter comped burrata, broccolini, and my glass of wine.
The server was super nice but it kinda sucked because no one greeted us for like 20 mins. Our server was extremely nice I can tell he was busy and we didn't mind but he said the food would come out fast and didn't really come out fast. The fries were not very good but we didn't really have enough time to say anything. The meat obviously wa amazing
If you are looking for a place with a nice vibe to get some high quality wagyu burgers, this is the place for you. The inside is filled with beautiful plants that make for a nice visual while dining. The Sidewinder Fries are a must! Also, save room for dessert - the A5 Wagyu Fat Brownie is out of this world. I will say, I am disappointed that they took the skewers off the menu at the PB location as they were a great way to experience a few different cuts of wagyu beef without having to order an entire steak. Hopefully they will make their way back on to the menu in the future as it looks like they change things up every once in a while. All in all, a great place to have a casual high quality dinner without going broke. Lastly, make a reservation as this place is always hopping and closes at 9pm even on the weekends.
