- Food size for açai bowl is small
- tastes no different from other stores (I didn’t add more honey and already veeeeery sweet).
+ Strawberries and blueberries on top are pretty fresh

All their acai bowls are listed as vegan, and they have vegan vanilla ice cream. Most of the smoothies come with yogurt by default, but you can ask to get them either "fruit-only" or with the vegan ice cream. I got the piña colada smoothie with the vegan ice cream, and it was creamy and delicious! They have vegan (pea) protein powder available as well. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff!
Everything is delicious and fresh here! Nancy is one of the sweetest, most gracious business owners I’ve come across. She genuinely loves her customers and takes pride in making sweets people can feel good about eating. Highly recommend!

All I can say is wow! My shake was amazing . It was created by Joe the artist. The atmosphere and service was head above shoulders, anything that I've experienced here in San Diego. The energy is amazing. I ordered a banana split protein shake and the flavors were off the chart. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend a quick reprieve from the hustle bustle.

I gave it a one star because we did get frozen yogurt, which is what I wanted that evening. It seems that they close down the self-serve, frozen yogurt side, and the person behind the counter had to make our portion. The set up is absolutely terrible. Once you get to the front of the line, they ask what you would like but everything is on display where you’re not able to see it. The concept really doesn’t make sense and makes everything very inconvenient, not efficient. The frozen yogurt was OK but nothing special. The seating area was filled with boxes and supplies. The cleanliness of this location looks very questionable. Sadly I will not return which is too bad because there are not many frozen yogurt places near my home. I was really hoping this place would be good.

Overall: Great, quick stop for some frozen treats
The good: Convenient location if you're staying in the hotel or walking along the bay nearby. Acai bowls were hefty and loaded with toppings, and tasted great. Service was friendly and quick.
The not-so-good: Prices are a little high, $16 for an acai bowl is not cheap, but we were happy with what we paid for.

Another comic-con another visit to Sweet Things! amazing as always. Had a Dole Soft Serve and Vanilla Soft Serve, perfect. Another day I had the brownie sundae, INCREDIBLE. Nice staff and they work hard and fast to get the orders out considering the crowds. Always look forward to going back every year.

A SWEET SURPRISE! I was craving a vegan dessert option and I was happy to find Sweet Things on Yelp! It's nestled on the right hand side of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront neighboring the San Diego Convention Center. I saw the wonderful reviews and had to try it. It's absolutely AMAZING! I got the birthday cake fro-yo with yogurt chips, rainbow sprinkles and caramel drizzle as my toppings. OMG it was heaven on earth, the fro-yo was the perfect texture and the guy who added my toppings was very generous! He gave me my money's worth and for that he's my favorite fro-yo employee EVER. Everything was great,
Sweet Things is not self-serve, they covered up the old fro-yo machine stations and now everything is ordered at the register. The staff served the fro-yo quickly and brought it out in a flash. The prices are fair here and you get great portions! Sweet Things also serves Dole Whip and non-vegan fro-yo. I'm definitely going to return so I can try ALL of their flavors! I'm a fan, and you will be too! The ambiance is amazing. There's plenty of seating both in and outside. It was a really mellow environment. If you’re staying at the Hilton this place is literally attached to the hotel, I saw many guests visiting!
