2 out of 3 visits someone leaves a topping off or omits one of the fish I selected (does 2 salmon instead of 1 tuna & 1 salmon)… it’s pretty crazy. We can’t leave without checking now. Today this guy NAILED it. Best bowl I’ve received in 3 YEARS. Thank you!

We came to Sweetfin around 7 PM — a full hour before closing — and asked if they could mix our bowl, and were told no because “they already cleaned the dishes.” Honestly, that’s pretty disappointing. If you’re still open, customers should be able to order and receive the full experience, not get turned away from a basic request just because it’s inconvenient for the staff. We didn’t feel fully taken care of, and it left a sour taste on what should have been a simple, enjoyable meal.

Tried the yuzu salmon bowl at Sweetfin Poke, and honestly… it was giving “spa water” energy. All the right ingredients were there—avocado, jicama, salmon, yuzu—it should have been a flavor party. Instead, it tasted like everyone showed up but forgot to bring the seasoning.
The salmon was a little too fishy-fishy (not in a cute sushi way), and the whole thing was missing a basic thing called salt. I kept waiting for the flavors to hit… but they must’ve missed their Uber.
Also—$16?? For that price, I could’ve gotten a Cava bowl that actually tastes like something and still had change for a cookie.
Sweetfin, you’re sweet, but please season your fish.

The first time was bad but I decided to give it another chance. The base rice was better than last time, but the avocado was not the freshest.

Best poke place around!
I really don’t understand why there are bad reviews, we have never had a bad experience here.
1. The staff members are so kind and helpful
2. Tons of options! They have 4 different kinds of rice, plenty of protein options, and tons of toppings and sauces. You can pick 3 bases, 3 sauces, 2 proteins, and 8 toppings, for a $16 custom bowl. That is way better than other popular poke spots we’ve been to!
3. Good portions. They even weigh the portions out to ensure accuracy so you’re not getting half filled scoops!
4. Quality ingredients. I’ve never had fish that smelled bad or tasted bad.
5. Really good unique drinks
6. It’s all gluten free! If you are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease, this place is so refreshing to eat at!
I really hope this restaurant stays open and more people try it out because it’s one of my favorite spots ❤️
Ordered takeout. What a ripoff! $22 just bought 5-6 small pieces of fish.

Love the poke bowls here, always done just right.
A celiac dream!!! Fish is fresh, staff is so nice, can’t beat it!
I’ve followed Sweetfin on IG for several years because their bowls always look so good. Finally happen to find one on a work trip in SoCal and I have to say the staff, quality, and freshness was the best I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend.
The rice was horrible. It was squishy and so wet. The bowl did not taste good
I was very excited to to try for the first time, however was pretty disappointed. Tuna texture was strange. Almost like cartilage in the middle and too soft in other parts. I have never experienced tuna like this.
