Last night, my family and I had a very unfortunate dinner experience here. It started with the young lady who was making our salads/bowls. I assume she was having a bad day because we all agreed we had never been treated so poorly and rudely in a restaurant in out life. Unfortunately, that is not where out poor experienced ended. We showed up around 50 minutes before closing but the food looked like it had been sitting for about 7 hours. The Korean bbq steak tasted like beef jerky, just horrible. The bread that was served was almost inedible, it was so stale. The new potatoes were something we were excited to try.. unfortunately, they were cold as ice and tasted like they had been out since the day before.

Messed up order. The hot honey chicken didn't have any chicken. Not sure how they could mess up that part.

Visited Madison, WI for a swim meet this weekend and I discovered SG. I cannot even put into words how delicious the menu is. I didn't go just once...I came back...a total of 4 times!! Tried new things each time - the sauces are unbelievable, ingredients so fresh! Every single time the staff was helpful, smiling, and genuinely kind. Such a happy and joyful vibe. A special shout out to Melvin and Chaz, you guys rock!! Thank you!! I will forever be a fan. 💚

Everytime I come here, something is wrong with the order. The food either tastes terrible, they forget to put something in the bowl, I have to wait 15 minutes for the protein. This place is not worth coming back to anymore.

I was late here by the video of the employee, denying a homeless person inside and she just wanted a cup of water. Thank God for the man who came and paid for her meal and still the manager didn’t allow her and disgusting. You guys could never get my money.

Disappointed that my bowl was smaller than on my last visit. I will have to supplement with more greens etc when I get home. Not going back if this is the norm.

My husband had the miso glazed salmon and really liked it. My rating is based on the shroomami salad. The tofu was inedible, tough and dried out. I threw all of it out. The mushrooms were small and few as were the almonds. The salad dressing was good, but at the end of my meal I was very unsatisfied. Decidedly not worth ever having again. I will try other things, but I strongly recommend you don’t try the shroomami salad.

Always one scoop. Broccoli is cold.

When this location opened, it was a beacon- great food and great service.

Now, I had a manager get aggressive with me for asking a question. Prior to that visit, more often than not they are out of ingredients and nothing but excuses.

Go elsewhere, it’s not worth the frustration. Urban Plates a few doors down is excellent.

a solitary youtube video lead me here, and to say I was heartbroken is beyond description. A homeless woman simply wanted a bit of water and it was caught on camera how she was treated. ice water/hot water, it will not kill your business to be kind. until the employee/manager saw he was being recorded, he treated that woman like absolute trash. do better.

We had high Hopes for this healthy food choice. could not have been more dissapointed. highly advertised ripple fries, cold and tasteless. 4.55 for about 8 chip/slices. My hot honey chicken bowl was mostly quino, very little slaw and the sweet potatoes cold and tough. the carrot slices were bland and discolored, like they had been sliced days before.the chicken was tough. I was lucky enough to have been given some bread from my friend I was dining with. my bowl and fries,no drink, but gave tip, came to almost 24 dollars. I left hungry and should have said something but didn’t. also, while dining, a gal behind the counter kept running a very large grinder, it took her 2 hands to run it, was so big and loud. we had to stop in the middle of our conversation several times because we could not hear each other. overall not a good experience. on the upside, place was clean, help was friendly, water was cold and easily available. will not be going back or recommending to anyone.
