Dinner was delicious and service was great. It helped to dine here for an early dinner. Better parking and less people! The salt & pepper wings appetizer was delicious. Mongolian beef was very tender and full of flavor. The hot pot we ordered had shrimp, scallops and chicken and vegetables in brown sauce (can't remember the exact name of the dish). Very, very good dish!

The food wasn’t that good. It barely had any taste at all.

I love to eat here. It's quiet, the service is friendly and quick. It's the perfect place to have a hot meal on a rainy day. I love the mushu pork and the sizzling beef and scallops.

Basically no relationship with classical Szechuan dishes. It offers American style Chinese dishes. The crispy duck is recommended, but it will let you wait 1 hrs before serving.

I went to Szechuan House last night to pickup food for me and my wife. It's in a small shopping center in Mira Mesa. When I walked in I was greeted by a lady she was very nice. I looked around the place it has very nice decorations and very old school Chinese food restaurant vibe. I was surprised to see only one family eating here. My order was ready when I got there. When I got home me and my wife got to eating all I can say is the food was great very fresh and flavorful. Would definitely eat here again.

I was hesitant because of the reviews but the food was delicious and the service was very friendly during our visit. We will visit again.

The food and service were ok. We were looking for easy coast style Cantonese food and found it here. If you are an East Coaster, you will recognize the decor. No complaints except the food needs more flavor. I found everything needed done doctoring. I added sauce abs it was better. They only take cash, so be prepared.

I am very sorry to say what a disappointment the sesame chicken was. No spicy heat and the "chicken" was more fat than meat...every piece. I had to throw it away. The cream cheese wantons were ok; nothing to brag about. I'm sorry I lost the $ I paid and very sorry to say such unflattering things. The truth is the truth.Online order.

We came here for our Christmas dinner. After waiting for over 75 minutes we didn’t get our food. Many people who came later than us got their food earlier. We politely talked with the waiters but it didn’t help at all. They kept saying it’s coming but nothing happened. At the end we had to leave because we were hungry and angry.

Your menu is weak at best. You don't describe what is in your dishes for those who love your food. Some people have allergies

I've been coming here for 25yrs, and it's still, hands down, the best place for Asian cuisine. Flipping love this place!

Old Chinese bistro that serves many of the classic Chinese-American dishes you can find anywhere. One unique thing I tried was the Mu Shu Pork for the lunch combo, which was basically two pork burritos Chinese-style. It was not bad and with the complimentary wonton strips, I was pretty filled up by the whole meal.
