This Taco bell has been hostile to transgender guests for quite some time. I've tried pleading to the manager Alma and made several complaints to corporate over the last six years but nothing's changed. Despite this being my childhood/ neighborhood Taco Bell, I am clearly no longer welcome and have went to social media to ask anyone who supports transgender rights to please join me in boycotting this store.
Over these last six years, I've completely 180'd my opinion on the company as a whole. I wanted to get married at the Taco Bell in Vegas and honeymoon at the Taco Bell Resort.... But now, I know that corporate is not willing to fire anyone for harassing transgender guests and my business was never appreciated or welcome. Because of my efforts for a while they stopped pronouns all together when taking orders at the drive thru, which I prefer to people's rude assumptions.
Previously, my girlfriend and I were only eating Taco Bell twice a month. From now on, we are reducing this once a month and only the Poway Taco Bell location because they have never tried degrading my dignity for a fast food order. Since DEI has been dismantled at several companies, I have operantly boycotted Target, Amazon and McDonalds to name a few. IT WOULD NOT be that hard to stop eating at Taco Bell all together.
Lastly, I don't have people being rude to me anywhere else in my life. This Carmel Mt. Taco bell is in fact the last place opposing my transition and being so bigoted. IF YOU ARE TRANSGENDER OR SUPPORT TRANSGENDER HUMAN RIGHTS, please don't eat at this location.

My teenager loves this place. I used to as well but can't eat this anymore.
Very disappointed with the service at Taco Bell (11688 Carmel Mountain Rd, San Diego, CA). Staff are consistently slow, and orders take too long. Today, a worker refused to hand over the order until I marked it as “picked up” in DoorDash — even before I could check it. Employees were also working with uncovered hair and beards, which is a hygiene issue. Worst of all, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional.
EXTREMELY slow drive through. Took longer than 30 minutes to get through at 8pm. How is it possible to be this bad?
I have been to many taco bells, but out of all of them I believe this is the best one with the best staff member ever, Kev. The food was amazing but the service was what made the taco bell so great. Any company would be glad to have Kev as their worker! This man deserves great things.
I've eaten here in the past and it's been clean and well run. Must've changed hands because it definitely needed cleaning. Two tables in front of me had food scraps , boxes, crumpled bags, and an overturned cup on them, and water (or maybe soda) and food scraps all over the floor under them. Service was lacking as well. I ordered using the screen at the counter since no employees were there. My name was called 10 minutes or so later and I sat at a table to eat my taco and black beans. No utensils were in my bag and none were available near the counter. No salt and pepper either. I had to stand at the counter til I caught someone's eye so I could get a utensil to eat the beans with. I no longer recommend this Taco Bell. It's really quite a mess.
Completed a pick up at this location. Service was not great, would have been nice to have the staff acknowledge you are waiting. Even a simple, we will be right with you.

Best most organized nighttime taco bell I have had in a long time. Fresh good food, came with a good mood and smiles. I'd say well done.
The line was 10 minutes per person the food was cold we were waiting in lane for 50 minutes the people working were just talking are standing still. This was the worst Taco Bell I’ve been to.
Its Saturday night Sunday morning and the drive thru line is at least 30 mins long with only a few cars. It's like each car is 15 mins long. Can't be possible if all the food comes pre-pared!
They have the slowest service and then my order is wrong about half of the time. If there were a closer Taco Bell I would definitely switch. I know it’s just fast food but their service is significantly worse than their competitors.
