Food was not great at all. If you want real tacos, you'll find them more on the outskirts of downtown.

Good food, but I was disappointed by the staff. My friend and I ordered 3 tacos each during the "Happy hour - 3 tacos for $10." Sadly, we were charged full price...then only were given 5 tacos. My friend was buying and didn't want to make a fuss about either error. Also, the music was too loud to hold a conversation.

The burrito they served me was cold đŻ Idk if it was laziness on their part but they didnât serve my burrito fresh. The carne asada was a little cold, the rice was warm. đ¤ˇđťââď¸ When they said they didnât have birria ramen, i knew that was a red flag!đ¨ I shouldâve trusted my instincts and not order anything.

Pretty decent for the price. Super friendly staff, order made fresh and served quickly. Not the best food in the area, but great for the price!

California Burrito Ratings (14th Stop): Tacos El Cabron
Embarking on a mission to rank SD's iconic California burritos!
The Product:â¨This burrito stands out for its heavy dose of greens and grilled meatâsuper charred, which I personally vibe with. Itâs hefty; couldnât finish it in one sitting. Price tag? Around $16, which is above SDâs average. Flavor didnât quite match the cost. 5 out of 10.
The Service:â¨Casual interaction. The girl at the counter seemed glued to her phone most of the time. 3 out of 10.
The Vibe:â¨The decor has cool elements that could set a great atmosphere, but the overall vibe felt a bit neglected. 7 out of 10.

This USED to be quality spot that justified the price of a taco. Ordered my go-to Surf & Turf taco tonight & was highly disappointed. Hopefully was an off night

We ordered the food 20 minutes before closing. We had a text saying it's ready for pickup. We showed up and the restaurant was closed. They closed 10 minutes before the the hour listed on the page. No food, but my credit card was charged. I wasn't the only one. There was another customer on the same boat with me when we tried to figure out how to get our food.

Horrible service. Charged customer for the food, but closed the store before completing the service. When I called to dispute my charge, after my explanation, they just simply hung up on me.

Don't go here - Got 2 Asada and 2 Adobado they weren't even edible, the Asada tasted like it had gone off a week ago and the Adobado was as dry as wood. Threw them both away and that's saying something I never waste food.
Been to other Taco places around here several times and never had anything anywhere near this bad. I've only ever had tacos this bad one other time in my life and that was in the middle of nowhere in Three rivers. There's so many better food places around here don't waste your money.

The birria tacos didnât taste good at all very dry, barely any flavor, and the margaritas were watered down and turned me down when I asked for an extra shot in it.

Yeesh. Stoned out of their skulls at this place. Not a lot of urgency or customer service. I ordered black beans got pinto, ordered pineapple jarritos got manzana instead. They were out of some items too like birria. Not a problem.
The pork adobada quesadilla was good though, big too. And great tasting tomatillo sauce.
And perhaps the dumbest thing, I hesitate to even mention, the spoons...suck here. They're too deep so like, you can't get all the food out of the bottom. You have to suck on it weird or lick it to get the beans. Lmao ? like I said, ridiculous thing to complain about but this joint is lacking in basics.
