Tacos El Trompo "A Mexican Tradition"

The birria plate it and the carne asada plate it had to much salt , I won’t go again if you like salt food keep going but I didn’t like it just the aguas frescas and the bathrooms don’t work sometimes .

It's really not the same the taste of food is not there anymore. adobada was salty and hard to chew on

Tried this place out for the first time today on a Taco Tuesday and boy did it hit! $1.75 per taco and they are fire! 🔥I tried them all and my favorite was the Asada with the Fish taco coming in 2nd. The tacos may be cheap but the quality and flavor is not! They come with all the toppings too unlike some other taco spots who charge $3-$4 per taco and it’s just the tortilla and meat. The line was always to the door due to being Taco Tuesday but even though I still got my order of 12 tacos in about 5 mins. Will definitely be coming back here every Tuesday now! Perfect score, Overall 5 ⭐️!

Got an Uber Eats order. The guac was nowhere to be seen so I had to eat dry chips. Nobody wants dry chips. I'd rather they had forgotten the tacos 🤣

Also, the meat wasn't tender, felt like it had been there a while. Flavours were excellent though, despite the tough meat.

Tacos are good. And reasonably on price for taco Tuesday.

Tacos looked good, however taste wise was not as appetizing as promised.
Ordered 3 tacos, all of them with good amount of guacamole which is a plus. Adobada was ok but not much flavor on it, I think was the best one with a solid 5, the worst one were chorizo and carnitas with a lot of salt, not enough lime was good to smooth the saltiness, salsa were below average from every other taco shop, not spicy at all, this surprised me cause Ive been at the Chula Vista location at broadway and I’ve had good food.
I would suggest to pay more attention to the saltiness on food.
P.S. tortillas there are a solid 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So I've been Here a handful of times... I always encounter the same cashier. She's always so rude, never smiles, she's just not welcoming ?. The food is good 8 out 10 but the hot sauce ratio is whack. 3 hot sauce for carne Asad nacho that I paid 17 dollars for. I asked for 3 more lol and had to pay an additional 50 cents ?

Taco Tuesday! This is the spot to go on Taco Tuesday if you want some authentic street tacos in your life. My fiancé and I frequent Tijuana and the adobada tacos are nearly as good as those you get on the streets of Tijuana. We tried and asada and definitely prefer the adobada.

Can’t wait for next Tuesday!
