Yuto and Natasha are the most amazing workers I’ve met. Yuto was my server and it was my first time coming here and he explained everything perfectly. He also was so nice about it being my first time, Trying Ramen. And Natasha, was so helpful, my friend Was in pain and she brought her Advil from her own purse immediately. These are nice gentle and genuine people.

My wife and I ate there three times. On average, it took 30 minutes to get a bowl of ramen and an order of fried rice on a slow Monday night.

Hi, could you please have the pickup orders ready when we arrive?

We’re given an estimated time for both pickup and delivery, so it doesn’t make sense for the wait time to be longer than what’s scheduled. This has happened several times at this location, and I’d really appreciate it if this issue could be fixed. Thank you.

why do you guys also lock 🔒 your bathrooms 🚽 ? …

...we've been coming to this local spot since it opened.......always chill, friendly staff who pretty much take good care of you.........the carnitas ramen is always a go to for the table, as are my favorites the musubi, cucumber salad, and cream cheese wontons pictured........good specialty drinks and cold cider !..........never disappoints.............

Atmosphere was really good. Music is not loud and food is well served. I wish there was 1 whole egg instead of just half. Picture is katsu bun and white tajima ramen.

I considered this a nice place to eat but I would recommend you not to come here if you have 30 to 1 hour lunch break. I ordered ramen which is their main dish and It took them 40 minutes to have it on my table. I asked them twice and they told me they had backed up orders but waiting for 49 minutes for ramen is not ok and I don’t think I was taken seriously when I asked , none took a moment to apologize or even explain. They just ignored me while I was sitting alone waiting for one dish of ramen. I would recommended you not to come here.

This is based on a to go order. I used to frequently get food from here to go. Today was the first time in a year and wow am I disappointed. They changed their to go containers and the new one holds about half as much broth. I don't even have enough broth for this to be considered soup, it's more like wet noodles (see picture). On top of that the add on of pork chashu for $4.50 was one smallish slice. My extra half egg for $1.00 was smashed in a container it didn't fit in so the yolk had oozed out everywhere. I know portions and the quality in restaurants has gone downhill but daaaamn! I won't be back.

Food good as always, it does seem like the amount of food keeps getting smaller though. I can't say anything bad about the atmosphere but the waitress had a bit of an attitude and when we paid and gave her a tip seemed ungrateful. Good food but take to go.

I want to start by saying I love Tajima. Been going here for years. But the last two times I went here the service has been some cheeks. First time they made a pretty bug mistake. I got carnitas ramen and fajitas ramen’s. With the carnitas ramen, the gave me the right broth but the Tajima ramen noodles.

Thank god I ordered extra carnitas. Because if I didn’t THERE WOULD BE NO CARNITAS IN MY CARNITAS RAMEN. I’m currently writing this in the the parking lot of the restaurant. This is me next visit after the one I mentioned prior. They forgot two garlic edamame’s and an order of pot stickers. I had to DRIVE BACK 20 MIN FROM MY HOME (which I don’t mind because like I said. I love Tajima ) to go back and get the three appetizers they missed and my additional add on that I didn’t mention to you all reading earlier.

They forgot FOUR ITEMS. I let the first time go because I get it, it’s busy, things happen. But this is crazy. And after all that I got a passing “so sorry about that” I mean thanks for the apology but you guys kinda did me dirty and that’s the best you can do? One star.

Had early dinner here about 2 weeks ago, ordered chicken ramen, it was too salty so much you could not taste anything else. Served at room temperature. Service and draft beer selection were very good.

Better cider selection than almost any San Diego restaurant! I had a great raman, and great HONEST staff. They forgot my extra protein but brought it out without me having to ask. Also not bad in price either! Great first date we will definitely be back some day!

I used to love this place, but they just suck now. Every time I give them another chance, they mess up my order or do something foul. My final straw - i ordered the spicy sesame ramen and paid for extra carnitas. The ramen is supposed to come with ground beef. When I tell you, they sprinkled ground beef on it as if it was parsley. It wasn’t even enough for a spoon full. How did they think that was okay? Then, the side of carnitas that i ordered, was packaged in a huge bowl, and there was literally just a couple of shreds of carnitas. It’s so disappointing in this economy, you go to a nice spot, pay for a meal that’s not cheap, and they don’t even have the decency to give a normal amount of protein that I’m paying for! I won’t be coming back here again
