Been a loyal fan and customer of tajima since they first started in San Diego. We typically go to the other tajima on mercury street but we happened to be in this area. We got take out tajima ramen and chicken ramen take out. The portions at this location are MUCH smaller than the mercury location for the same price. The chicken ramen tasted a bit saltier and the broth was less creamy. The tajima ramen tasted less clean. Bummed that this location's quality and quantity is so significantly less than the mercury location. Will not come back to this location.

Best ramen I've had in awhile! I prefer it to Raki-raki personally. I got the Tajima ramen, pork chashu bowl, takoyaki, and my partner got the spicy ramen. We shared everything and agree it was all good.Once we came in, they even gave us a choice where we wanted to sit between 3 spots so it was nice coming in when it wasnt super packed. Service and ambience of the place were all great too! Would visit again.

Came to this Tajima numerous times, one of the better ramen places in San Diego and definitely one of my favorites. I've had the Tajima Ramen (Original Tonkotsu Pork Bone broth, Egg Noodles, Pork Chashu, ½ Ramen Egg, Fried Garlic, Corn, Baby Bok Choy, Green Onions, and Sesame Seeds), the Spicy Sesame Ramen (Spicy Tonkotsu Pork Bone broth, mixed with special Sesame Paste, Egg Noodles, Ground Pork, ½ Ramen Egg, Corn, Fried Garlic Chips, Baby Bok Choy, Green Onions, and Sesame Seeds) and Curry Ramen (Original Tonkotsu Pork Bone broth, mixed with special spiced Curry, Egg noodles, Ground Pork, 1/2 Ramen egg, Baby Spinach, Corn, Green Onions, and Sesame seeds). I've also tried the side of fries with mayo/aioli sauce drizzled on top. My favorite is the Spicy Sesame Ramen!

My sushi roll came with a piece of plastic jammed in it. Possibly from the cellophane that the cook uses when I told the servers, they acted like it was no big deal. They offered me a discount, but I paid in full anyway.

Although I’m a meat eater, I loved the older vegan ramen and would always order that over any other ramens. It’s sad to see it go. The new one is very bland and starchy with no real flavor. Can you bring back the older veggie ramen?

We used to LOVE this place. Been coming to a few of the Tajimas for 9 years now. I have been a vegetarian for 22 years while my family all eats meat. I have found that their vegan ramen has been the best for the last 9 years clearly! The problem is they changed it to some boring, bland, gross vegan ramen that lacks the vegetables that makes a good vegan/vegetarian ramen. I can only assume they had some random meat eating chef change it because it is anything but delightful. Didn’t finish my food and we left paying the check knowing we can’t go back unless they change the vegan ramen to a proper one. The old vegan ramen was full of vegetables, came with good spinach noodles and good fried tofu. Now it’s just a mushy gross mess of noodles, gross cream and no vegetables along with plain tofu. Please get a proper vegan or vegetarian to remake that meal.

We came here for lunch and I have to say it we wont be back l. The service was excellent the wait staff was very attentive but the food was not good We ordered appetizers and ramen the apps were basic and low quality the ramen broth was good but everything else was not good at all the noodles used in the ramen felt old and chewy the condiments were very basic we felt like it was a bad food experience all around not worth the price there are definitely better ramen spots this one just didn’t do it

I am so saddened. Honestly heartbroken. For almost 8 years I've been coming here for their vegan ramen, which has won multiple awards year after year for them. Why they decided to change the entire vegan ramen is beyond me. It has to be price cuts because there ain't no way in hell bamboo, BELL PEPPERS, RADDISHES, STEAMED TOFU & some new whack ass mushrooms goes together. Even the broth is too thick now. Disappointed beyond belief. Don't know why people have to always try to fix what ain't broken. Y'all gonna see your sales plummet for this ramen in particular.

Very well seasoned ramen! Good for night cravings! I recommend this place! Thanks Atmosfy! Will be back for more!

This is our old time favorite Ramen place. The broth itself makes it prefect! You can even order just the broth & noodles for your kids who are so picky with the veges they eat. Their service is good and the ambience keeps on changing every now and then, they were very diverse & follows the modern trending, love this place! Highly recommended!

We were visiting family here In San Diego. So as big Ramen lovers we were recommended to try this place.Of course it was our 1st time. When we arrived it wasn't that Bz so we had no wait time to be seated. So Maybe a minute or so our waitress came n took our order started with our drinks and we knew what we wanted and we placed our order for our meals. For appetizers we ordered the cream cheese wontons, and the Tajima fries. Both were very good!.Then I ordered the Spicy sesame ramen. It was really good never tasted ramen like this.It wasn't to spicy the broth had a perfect taste to it!.My girl friend ordered the Tajima ramen. She enjoyed it as well. Also the customer service was great!.I would have given this place a 5 star but the parking is limited. We had to wait a few minutes for a parking stall to open. Also they can work on there portions?Im from Hawaii and we like it bigger..When back in San Diego area we Will definitely come back to this place..

I used to get vegan ramen there. My recent experience has not been good... Even though Corn was supposed to be part of the vegan ramen, they told me that corn was cooked with butter, so they left it out without substituting with something else. Also, the flavor was not the same. I do not think I will go back for their ramen.
