I really enjoyed my time at Take the Bait. The bartender Alan was super attentive with his service. My order was taken as soon as I sat down which made for a great experience at this location. 10/10 would recommend!

THROW THIS WHOLE PLACE AWAY AND DONT GO HERE! Went in yesterday at 5:15 PM with a friend to take advantage of happy hour. There was a table of 4 and we were at bar. We ordered drinks which were very tasty, and then we put in the order for coconut shrimp, fries, ceviche, and fried cauliflower. This is where the problem started. We didn’t get the first plate of food which was the coconut shrimp until 6 PM. My friend didn’t get her food until an hour later and the cauliflower still did not come out so she canceled it. My fries also came out an hour later so I wasn’t able to enjoy it with the coconut shrimp. Then a guy further down the bar I believe also got coconut shrimp and mine look like little baby shrimp. We were about to just close everything out and just walk out and the bartender said The Chef is also working the restaurant attached next door. What the hell??!! There were people that came in after us, and got their food quicker than us. There were also people that walked in and didn’t stay long and left because they got no service. The fries weren’t well done and my friend started to feel sick from her drink. I asked for a manager and the bartender said that he is available, but the Chef is here. Nope no thank you. If you can’t have a dedicated shift to a restaurant, you shouldn’t be operating at all. The bartender was nice and just kept saying sorry as we asked, where is our food, but that is not enough, and no one should ever go here. I would’ve got better and quicker service at Long John Silver. Just no, never again.

The manager Johnathan was so welcoming from the second we walked in, and our bartender Jack was so much fun. Both of them were engaged with us the whole night and were so attentive. We went to play pool and enjoyed the offering of happy hour all night on Wednesdays. Really fun, casual, laid back atmosphere for a great night out with friends. The ceviche and salmon teriyaki bowl were great?

The store hours were all incorrect, we drove 30 minutes just eat here and didn’t even get to go in because the doors were closed and we kept calling but no one was picking up the phone. We made sure to look up the restaurant hours and it showed that this restaurant was open. Please update your hours.
Food was good but this waitress with tattoos on her arms was SUPER rude to two tables that I witnessed personally and it was super uncomfortable!!

This place tried to hire musicians to play for free. They take advantage of working class people. If they have this model with performers, where else are they cutting corners on costs? Paying their employees terribly? Is it serving expired food? I would never support a business like this.
We went here last night at 8:00pm! They were out of some seafood, but that is a good sign. Our server was very accommodating and we had a wonderful experience. Yummy food, great service and nice atmosphere. Crab legs and shrimp were amazing. Great cocktails ? too! Will definitely go back.

We went on a Tuesday around 6 pm and it was not busy at all! Great time to get happy hour and their midweek special to save some money. The Alaskan crab and lobster tail boil was delicious, but be prepared to get messy! The service was awesome (we had Jack serving us). Don't sleep on the margarita flight!

We had the mid-week seafood boil and loved it. There was so much seafood we had leftovers for another full meal.
