Nice place, and the boba is really good! The servers seemed a little judgemental and stand-offish, which I totally understand they could be tired from their shift. I frequent the Tapioca Express in El Cajon blvd and both places are good options for boba however, for the location I extremely recommend the one in El Cajon.

Best fried tofu in SD! Always made fresh with rice, fried egg, and veggies. Their boba is also consistently delicious ? my fav is the black tea with boba sweetened.

Awesome place for boba and smoothies. Everything I've tried has been really good. Definitely my favorite drink place in San Diego.

The drink I got, the papaya mango snowbubble, tasted very good. The boba also wasn’t bad. However, it was very noisy due to the music and background noise and I literally couldn’t hear what the cashier was saying about my order, and she couldn’t hear what I was saying either. My drink came without boba initially so I had to ask for that to be added. Thankfully, they were really nice even though I don’t think I paid for the boba lol

Parking: I came around 4:30 on a Saturday and the parking lot was basically full. The little mall this boba place in located was very busy.

Overpriced boba drinks and out of stock on several things listed on their online menu. It took me 4 guesses to find something I wanted that they actually had available. We won't be back.

Great boba drinks! Liked the spicy chicken and rice with a fried egg with some basil on it. It's a cool hangout place. This is usually my go to place.

Best fried chicken in San Diego at specifically this Tap Ex (they vary). Impossible to park, so use side streets. Boba is good but not great, but honestly so many nostalgic memories w the boba drinks that love it anyways. The only boba place that it's nice to just sit in for hours, like a coffee shop, because the lights aren't super bright. So it's not an only take-out, modern, trendy new Chinese place, it's just nice to hang. Inexpensive lunch menu and snacks, and if you buy the meal you get a free tea or 1/2 off a boba drink. Huge drink menu. K-pop videos and music playing in the background, sometimes from 2005? Love !

Vegetarian options: Fried tofu (amazing), fries.

Kid-friendliness: Huge so lots of space for kids to do whatever chaotic things they do.

Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors that (I think) can open with someone else's assistance, and large space to use chair to go to counter, tables, etc.

Quality control, please. I ordered crispy chicken and fried tofu. Both were overcooked, and I couldn't even put them in my mouth. It was too hard, what a disappointment.
