Crispy chicken is my favorite item on the menu. The parking sucks. They are closed on Mondays. Hit or miss if anyone will pick up the phone for pickup.

Still love this place! OG TapX for me since I was in high school. I will drive from National city just to come here cus it’s remained consistently good. National city location by my place is the worst, their food is not the same. Ansil & Ashley helped me with my order when one of my food items didn’t come out correctly but Ansil made sure I was satisfied and gave me more than I thought. Very thoughtful!

Love their boba and crispy chicken! I've been going here for years, and I'm always happy.

Great for boba and Asian comfort food and snacks. This establishment is primarily a boba bar. They have an extensive boba menu. But I go there for their Asian snacks and comfort food. They are known for their crispy chicken, which is like a karage or fried chicken strips. They can adjust the spiciness of the chicken and they serve them with a selection of sauces. The chicken is well-made. But we recently ordered the pork stew rice and BBQ pork rice combos and both were full of flavor. Worth ordering again. The combos come with rice, two vegetable sides, and a tea drink. The place is a bit of a college student hang out, but not so much so that a family can't enjoy a simple meal there. Prices are reasonable. The establishment is good for Asian comfort food or a nice drink. (A small note on park: it can be, at times, hard to find a spot in the parking lot.)

Nice place, and the boba is really good! The servers seemed a little judgemental and stand-offish, which I totally understand they could be tired from their shift. I frequent the Tapioca Express in El Cajon blvd and both places are good options for boba however, for the location I extremely recommend the one in El Cajon.

Best fried tofu in SD! Always made fresh with rice, fried egg, and veggies. Their boba is also consistently delicious ? my fav is the black tea with boba sweetened.

The drink I got, the papaya mango snowbubble, tasted very good. The boba also wasn’t bad. However, it was very noisy due to the music and background noise and I literally couldn’t hear what the cashier was saying about my order, and she couldn’t hear what I was saying either. My drink came without boba initially so I had to ask for that to be added. Thankfully, they were really nice even though I don’t think I paid for the boba lol

Parking: I came around 4:30 on a Saturday and the parking lot was basically full. The little mall this boba place in located was very busy.

Overpriced boba drinks and out of stock on several things listed on their online menu. It took me 4 guesses to find something I wanted that they actually had available. We won't be back.
