I will give them another chance, but this time around I wasn't satisfied. I had 3 tacos, cabeza, lengua, and tripa. The only one that i liked was tripa nicely crunchy. The tongue will not be getting again, head was good I was just disappointed with the giant piece or cartilage they put on my taco. My wife had carne asada and she liked it, the aguas frescas were good. I will try one more time the downtown taqueria another shot to see if they can change my review. I will try the national city taqueria as well and compare them. But as of now I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Good. God. Damn. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the fact that I didn't order enough tacos. Burritos are 100% excellent too. The place may look like a simple hole in the wall restaurant, but that's how you KNOW it's gonna be good.

I ordered the carne asada burrito with the works usually I would request no onion since the Pico de gallo has chopped up onions I said it's fine glad I got it with everything WOW what a very good carne asada burrito I am from the orange county ca area just visiting San Diego usually when I am in the Diego area I would eat tacos El Gordo but they don't make burritos just strictly tacos this will be my new burrito joint in San Diego 👍👍

They also have buy 2 get one free deals on tacos during Taco Tuesdays! They take care of you; especially the clean-shaven heavy set brother on the grill, yo!!!

Pretty dissatisfied and disappointed. The California burrito was fire. The Al pastor tacos were sad. Dry af. The cilantro sauce wasn’t giving. Overall the al pastor were a 0/10 I ordered four and couldn’t finish the other two because of how dry they were. No ice in the ice chest and honestly the vibes were just off. I would sadly not come again.
