3.5 stars. Went on a Tuesday night and they were a bit understaffed but the staff worked super hard to make sure there was very limited wait, the orders were correct, and were very nice. Got the late night happy hour which I really enjoyed the options and felt like I got my money’s worth. Only got the fried food wise but they were hot and had a bit of a crunch. It was only a Tuesday so it wasn’t really packed but it was a no frills place that delivered what it said it would

I have been in San Diego since Monday 12/16 for a Conference. I dined at many restaurants this week. However, my group wanted some good food, and drinks. Taste and Thirst offers a late night Happy Hour, good food, friendly great service. This was hands down the best place with real good drinks, excellent food and an awesome atmosphere including good music. Thanks for the best experience before I go back home.

Gentleman at the door was very accommodating. Bartender/server on far bar was meh. Asking to hold my credit card so I can sit down and have some wings????? Ya, not gonna happen. If this is policy here....shame. Would never go there again.

Cool bar, delicious burgers. My beer was often empty and waiters walked past unnoticed. Various sports are running on the many screens at the same time, which is very tiring.
