Regretting my decision to visit here after seeing it has been closed down for multiple health violations since my visit: Ordered closed on September 9 for Hot and Cold Water - Major; Vermin - Major; Equipment and Utensil Storage, Use - Out of Compliance; and Permit - Out of Compliance.
It appears that even after being shot done and given a chance to fix things, they failed their next inspection and were still ordered to close. It’s going to take time to earn back my trust.

Great spot to play pool! Two tables upstairs out of the way good hourly rates. Love this place but has it reopened? From what I gather, the man, shut it down.I hope it reopens because it's a great place to play pool.

Went Friday night specifically for bowling. Didn’t have a reservation, but we figured we would have to wait a little. Walked in and there were a handful of people at the bar and a few lanes open for bowling. When we checked in with the host for bowling she let us know that there was a reservation coming in and two groups waiting before us and said it would be about 45 minutes. We agreed and put a name on the list and decided to eat and have a drink at their bar. About an hour and a half went by with no text or notification about the lanes and at this point there was one other person in the bar with us and the bowling alley had fewer people and what looked to be 4 open lanes. I asked the person who took our number and she said she would check but then never came back to let me know how much longer. Ended up closing out the tab and leaving. We got the carnitas fries at the bar which were good, however, they were out of a lot of drinks on tap. The bartenders were all kind.

Needed a great spot for our alumni event, and T+BEV was a great fit! From getting things setup with Michael and Robyn to the execution by Devin and the team on the day of the event, this was a wonderful experience!

The 2 people working were not sober, they were nice though. They didn’t have shoes in our size. The system didn’t work properly. It was a disaster instead of fun…

Came here to bowl after a padres game and a handful of drinks, great food and great time, but really just wanted to call out CAM and DEVIN (two brothers) who served us, After a good buzz I had ending up leaving an expensive pair of sunglasses on our table and they were kind enough to turn them in and I was able to get them back the following day. Thank you for your integrity and service I appreciate you guys! Chris!

The new manager is shady and a straight out liar. Rich, the owner should rethink who he hires and how they treat the regulars. Wouldn't recommend East Village Tavern + Bowl to anyone anymore. It used to be a 5-star, go to place for a bunch of us locals from East Village. We're not coming back.
