Spent literally 3 months planning an event at Techo Beso. Was committed to spend $20k. They just cancelled with 2 weeks of notice, leaving us without a venue entirely.

Do not do business with Techo Beso.

The service and atmosphere were great, but the pool is only 3 feet deep which isn't ideal. The tiles on the pool deck are also incredibly slippery when wet. During our 3 day stay we say several people slip and fall, myself included. I'm surprised more people weren't injured honestly

We had a reservation for 9 people. They sat us down at a very small table. We barely fit. They took forever to bring our food and our drinks. In fact one of our people in our party didn’t get their food and we cancelled a couple of items because we were ready to leave. The waitress was very nice and she kept apologizing and saying they were backed up.
As far as the food goes, it wasn’t any better. I got the jerk chicken lettuce wraps. It was not worth the $20 bucks maybe $16. The crab cakes were way too fishy and the fries, I couldn’t tell you because we never received them.

Used to be a regular and really loved this place. Last couple times I’ve had horrible experiences with the bouncers and service in general. Too many other options downtown. Hope new management/ new establishment takes the location over eventually. Always sad to see good locations go down hill like this.

I came to the opening of swim week. The amount of fun I had was insane. Such an amazing place.BUT the amazing part was the bartender Siyovush! He handled his station like no other. He truly is the greatest customer service rep for this bar.

What a wonderful birthday celebration was planned yet the experience was so deeply disappointing. I saw on Instagram that a private event was being held on the same day as my reservation I made so many months back so I emailed Andre and he stayed my reservation was secure. A day or two before my reservation I was asked if they can reschedule my reservation at a later time. It wasn’t a big deal to me however it was annoying that I had to change the dinner reservations prior to techo beso. I called to confirm the time because I was getting texts with a different time and spoke with Max, he asked me to ask for him upon arrival. When we got to TB we were looked at with disgust by the security and staff. I’m not sure if it was how we dressed, what we looked like, because we were clearly gay and lesbian or what but we felt so uncomfortable. The security told me “Max is busy right now sorry” and then disregarded me after that. Eventually Max came down, spoke to security then introduced himself. He asked me “what do you want to drink today” I responded tequila.. he then asked us to follow him upstairs. We got up there to find that we were thrown and tucked away in the back corner behind the building. I asked Max “I reserved a table, where we can all converse and engage.” He replied “most guest are happy with a cabana” there was way too many of us to be piled up on two small beds, what are we supposed to do sit on one another’s lap? And then Max never came back so We left, we felt so uncomfortable, judged and I was so embarrassed, and when we got downstairs the security made a sarcastic and rude remark towards us. This whole experience was terrible, i have never felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable from any establishment in downtown. My entire birthday was ruined! What a way to attempt to celebrate the big 35. I emailed Andre but have not heard back yet. This needs more attention from someone above Max as well.

They stole someone's ID and have refused to cooperate with police and are refusing to apologize. This place sucks and has horrible owners and management, they need to get shutdown for identity theft

Dope spot downtown. perfect for events, a place to meet some friends, a good date spot. Only downside for me was the drinks were expensive. ($23 for a small plastic cup filled mostly with ice and a splash of alcohol) plus tip.. not really worth it for me personally. But if you don't mind the drink prices then it's a great spot nonetheless. (I ordered a margarita for reference)

We ordered Al pastor chicken wings which were tasteless of flavor no habanero sauce or Al pastor flavor , the oyster mushrooms were champignon with just onion no flavor and the shrimp tacos there were just cooked and they add just cream and onion. I think pretty expensive for what they offer
