Less than average - would not return. Ordered the simple salmon temaki roll and was asked if I’d like it spicy, to which I say yes. This was about as spicy as your white grandmothers chicken salad. I didn’t realize it would be tossed in mayo as it wasn’t listed on the menu and there was absolutely no heat. The mayo took away any flavor from the salmon. The rice was not warm either.I paid $15 (with $1 tip) even though the menu said $12 for the hand roll. So I also got ripped off and didn’t need to tip. Also, you’re eating on the side of a busy road at a busy intersection. If you’re going to pay a premium just go to the beach instead!

Given the overall reviews, and since we drive by it often in our neighborhood, we came to try Temakeria around Saturday noon. It's a tiny cart with two outside tables. There was nobody else there so there was no wait. I tried the salmon and tuna hand rolls. Asked for spicy. As others mentioned the portions are decent, though not necessarily a good thing. It was way too big to get a clean bite. The top bite was basically all fish, while the remaining majority of the roll was just rice. Even though we asked for spicy, there was no spice whatsoever on the fish. As for fish quality, the salmon was decent but slightly fishy tasting (suggesting it wasn't very fresh). The tuna was downright bad, it was almost dried out, bland tasting, and suspect it was just defrosted after a long freeze. Honestly, even the Costco poke is far and away better in quality. The worst part though was the rice, which was undercooked and had a grainy texture. The seaweed was stale and had no crisp whatsoever, so we basically had to gnaw at it to break it apart. Owner never asked us how the food was. Overall we were quite disappointed with the quality of the hand rolls and won't be coming back. Given the price of what we paid, this felt like such a ripoff and really soured my afternoon.

The temaki is amazing .., so taste! I had salmon and shimeji with cream cheese. They added a lot of fish on top and inside. Also the deep fried temaki. The combo came with two appetizers and drink as well.5 stars for sure! I will definitely come back. Thank youuuu Andre!

Unexpectedly excellent!! The temaki were full of delicious fresh fish. Service was outstanding! The owner was also so friendly. We will definitely be going back to try the other hand rolls. We had the fried salmon, salmon/fish, and salmon/shrimp. All good!

I ordered from this place on Uber eats and they canceled my order at the last minute and let me go starving. I didn't get any notification until I went looking into the status of my delivery. Don't order delivery from this place.

The food is made with a quality that is difficult to find and with a lot of flavor. Combining Japanese food with Brazilian cuisine and other influences, such as Peruvian ceviche, makes a fantastic culinary experience. I also like the experience of the street food scene, something I miss here. The service was great... and I had to appreciate the cleverness of making such good food and varied options in a small space. Congratulations!
