Stayed at this property for three nights as we were in town for SURFCUP soccer tournament in DelMar. Our team was assigned to this property, and had team 'rates' we were assigned. Little on the expensive side, but so was most other hotels in this area. Booked a two queen room. Check in was quick, although no acknowledgement of Bonvoy status. Assigned a room on the 8th floor. The two queen room, ended up being two double beds (no way these are queens) and a super small space for our party of 3. Very little space to unpack, so two of us lived out of a suit case ond one person used the single usable drawer to store clothes. The second drawer had the safe in it. Bathroom was decent size, with a tub, and dispensers for body soap, conditioner and shampoo. One bar of soap and lotion by the sink. Room had a mini fridge, and functional coffee station which was great. No Microwave. Beds were comfortable and we slept well, expect for a rude wake up on the second night. Woke up to the smoke detector battery running low, so it beeped every minute until I took it off the wall, unplugged it and took the battery out. That was not fun at 2:30AM. Not sure why that always happens in the middle of the night but so it goes. Talked to front desk manager in the morning and maintenance tech was up within 10 minutes to swap out the smoke detector for a brand new one. Self parking is expensive at $25.00 a night and you need your room key card to enter and exit the covered parking structure. Spaces are small and not designed for larger vehicles. Saw larger SUV's and pick up trucks parked outside in the valet area. Not sure if they had to pay for valet to park in that location. Staff were all great and they have a nice bar and dining area, including outside fire pit area. Did not use the pool but looked nice. If the rate was a little less I would consider this property in the future. Give it three stars for the high rate, the parking charges , smoke detector and tiny room. Staff and common areas get 5 stars.

The worst stay! I complained 3 times about the housekeeping and they did nothing! The room was not clean when we checked in, the bedding was dirty and stained and there was onion pieces in the sofa. The basic thing a hotel does they cannot do! It’s like a 1 star hotel. Very disappointed.

Front desk was friendly and efficient. Dinner and breakfast was good but dinner needed a few comfort appetizers. I happened to get a handicapped room which was huge. Problems I noted were there were no towel racks anywhere in the bathroom or bedroom. Also the handicapped shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. I had to wear flip flops in the bathroom so I didn’t track water all over the bedroom. I stayed 2 nights and paid extra care the second night and still water was outside running across the floor. I forgot to tell the front desk that the lower light switch between the beds was similar to a strobe. Flickering on snd off very fast. I’m thinking it was a low light for a dim room but it flickers. Hopefully they read this. Our room had a mini refrigerator and there was bottled water in the room, and a coffee maker. I would stay again.

We really enjoy the hotel. The rooms were nice. The restaurant was nice . We are there for breakfast and dinner. They have a nice pool with fire pits. I would stay here again if I was in the area. The location was perfect for us.

Marriott Titanium. A bit surprised to see all the bad reviews, our stay was excellent. Pros: - Location: was convenient to get to and a quick drive for everything you need. - Staff: from front desk to cleaning team everyone was courteous and super helpful. - Recognition of loyalty: front desk went out of the way to give me full use of my benefits. - Executive Lounge: breakfast was good and always stocked. - Rooms: update, big, and clean. - Onsite restaurant: went for breakfasts and the food was good. Angel was an excellent waiter. Cons: - Onsite restaurant could use more help as they get overwhelmed for breakfast. Didn't get to the check out the pool as hope due to weather, but it was a great stay for a family in town to go to Legoland and see family and friends in the area.

Checked in at midnight, only to be told that there’s no hot water (still waiting to take a shower and it’s almost midday). They’d also assigned me the wrong room, and there was recognition of my status with Marriott (who knows what they did with my welcome gift) when I checked in. Never staying here again. I like hot showers too much apparently.

It was so refreshing to come to this spacious beautiful hotel and with top service . Came from Hampton across the street which smell bad and over done with chemical smell. This place was a great experience with breakfast and a up to date quiet spacious room. Plenty of shampoo and soap. I will definitely stay here again. The whole staff was excellent!

Management and staff need some serious upgrading. Wifi in the room did not work for two days, staff were unable to help. Checkout was a disaster, took 25 minutes, and they could not provide a proper invoice. The next day they charged me $120 more on my credit card, and now cannot get them to respond back.

I wrote an email to the front desk manager, however, I haven’t heard anything back. I stayed at your property on 1/28 and checked out today 1/29. I was there for work for the PGA tour. When I first arrived I wasn’t welcome with a warm greeting like Marriott’s are known for. The front desk agent was cold and she was not very friendly when I checked in. When I arrived I gave my Marriott Bonvoy card for incidentals because the company was paying for the room. However, when I got home this evening I saw a charge on my card for the entire stay. I’ll attach here. When she gave me the key there wasn’t any explanation on where the elevator was like I saw all the other guest being told. She just gave me my key and circled the room number. Before I went to dinner I noticed the front door handle was ajar and not screwed in all the way. So I went to dinner around 650-655pm and let the cold front desk agent know my door wasn’t attached properly and she notified the engineer. However when I got back around 845pm-9pm I noticed the door wasn’t fixed. Usually, there’s a followup call from DTS or from the front desk to see if something has been fixed or an update. However, no phone call or nothing. So the door wasn’t fixed. I had to be up at 4am so I didn’t bother. I’ll attach photos with time stamps of when I left for dinner and returned. Also, I put chairs on my door because the door handle was loose. Also, I noticed these these boogers, food, or just dirty stuff on the wall and ceiling.I didn’t eat in my room. However, there were greasy puddles on the table. When I went to lay on one of the beds ( since they gave me a double Queen) it felt a little wobbly. I looked under the first bed and noticed one of the legs wasn’t even attached. I saw the leg against the wall. I’ll attach photo. So the bed I slept in had all the legs but they were mostly not symmetrical and crooked which is pretty dangerous. Also, before I lay down for the night I like to pull all the sheets and pillows up to check for things. I found some kind of pet hair on the pillows. I don’t complain ever because I used to work for Marriott for 8-9 years so I hate people that complained about petty things. However, this wasn’t a great stay, a cold and unfriendly front desk agent that was not great( however Khoa and nice Asian girl were so nice and great checking out this morning), non existent fixing of my door and followup of request which is usually standard of Marriott, and cleanliness and danger of beds is pretty terrible. On top of all that the charge on my Bonvoy credit card which we both agreed at check in was for incidentals. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Hope to hear from you soon.

I paid over $400 for an executive room with 2 queen beds. The room is small -- maybe 200 sq ft. The electric car charging is slow (16 miles per hour), expensive ($1.50/hour), and limited to 3 hours. The executive lounge is closed. Internet is not included. The place seems mostly clean, though the bathroom fan intake was dirty and the bed nightlight was broken. See photos.

Love the cookies, love the staff, and love the rooms. Our favorite time to visit is the 4th of July, This hotel is near the beach, near the Chart House and near all kinds of shoipping. THe shopping is important as we seem to leave something behind.

No complaints. We had a great time here. The location is so perfect next to one paseo and Del Mar beach. The hotel itself is well kept, rooms are clean and updated. The concierge lounge is well equipped with drinks and has decent breakfast and light snacks for the afternoon service. Big shout out to Vanessa who went out of her way to make sure there was milk or cereal for our toddler. Great front desk service, Jessie was super helpful and welcoming. No hesitation we would come back and stay here again.

East of the freeway which was a bummer to start, pool and bar overrun on holiday weekend, nice clean room But it was not ready at 5 pm when we arrived? Not sure that’s ever happened. 2 women at check in were trying to help but seemed short staffed w housekeeping? Room clean and spacious but hot as soon as we arrived . It also didn’t have a tub. I always wants a tub..because a soak is always welcome and in this case a cool Soak would’ve helped since the pool was so oacked it couldn’t be enjoyed 11th floor has happy hour which had an nice cold room .. so we went for water and to cool Off while maintenance found that out AC unit was frozen solid .. 77-80 degrees in room..we went out for dinner and it was a bit better when we returned but of course froze solid during the night so we were hot all night..didn’t sleep well.. room was never under 74. We keep our home 70 or less at all times so it was just unacceptable. Don’t think would be able To move to another room even if we had asked -at least that’s what maintenance said . The front desk should’ve followed up that the cooling was satisfactory and offered. We have had 2 poor Marriot stays in the last month which is surprising because honestly we usually never have problems at Marriott..which is why we are loyal. Tuscon and here .. not great stays for us . Unfortunately
