We had an excellent experience at The 3rd Corner in Ocean Beach. The service was warm and attentive. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. I enjoyed browsing through the great selection of wine displayed throughout the dining area. I also appreciated that they serve filtered and high quality water.

We started with the Caesar salad, which was crisp and refreshing with a creamy dressing, generous shavings of parmesan, and topped with anchovies that added a perfect briny kick The shrimp pasta was perfectly cooked, with generous portions of shrimp, savory herbs, and just the right amount of cheese on top. The short ribs were incredibly tender and rich, served over creamy mashed potatoes with a delicious gravy, paired with fresh sautéed vegetables. The baguette was also baked fresh and had a perfect crust.

Everything we tried was spot-on. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and top-notch service!

Went twice in a week! My husband had the short rib again because he enjoyed it so much the first time. Honestly great food. Highly recommended.

Went for a late dinner, no reservation, group of six, waited about 15 minutes for a table. Had a drink at the bar while waiting. Service was fantastic. Food was very good, a couple asked for boxes. Had dessert also. Visiting San Diego but would visit again if when we are in San Diego again.

We visited for the first time on 6/22. The place was mostly empty. We sat on the patio. Service was a bit slow. I ordered the vegie omelette with no mushrooms. Waiter read my order back to me. We received our food after about 40 minutes. Dropped our food off and left. My omelette contained a lot of mushrooms. I removed every single one. I hate them. Didn't want to wait to have waiter return and order another one and miss eating with my family. Please listen to your customers. Also had to track down waiter who was also acting as the bartender to ask to pay our bill. Don't think we'll return.

Overall, an excellent experience here. The food was delicious. The service was quite nice a little room for improvement, but we were there on a busy night and we’re taking care of well all things considered. The atmosphere could definitely use a little upgrade. There was quite a strange sofa in the middle of the two dining room rooms, where families were feeding their children’s in front of iPads. Not a big fan of this makes it really impacts the potential of a classier dining experience.

Just stopped n got a drink before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Great service and excellent selection of wines. Full bar if you prefer something else. We didn’t eat but the food served to those sitting near us looked great. We will be back to try!

Great outdoor space and flight for happy hour! Good WiFi outside too

This is a great place very cool and casual. Excellent excellent snacks and bites. Food drinks everything the hospitality was exceptional as well. I have to think Lee and her sister for that a must stop by place for a flight or a drink or a bite anytime even on your way to the airport.

Ordered the duck confit and was served merely a single wing. It was over cooked. If the kitchen was out of the duck dish I could have ordered a different entree but the waitress never mentioned it. Upon hearing my complaint she offered me an opportunity to order an alternate dish but I declined since all the other guests in my party had already been served and were starting to enjoy their respective selections.

Parking: Good selection of wines to choose from and also well priced for a restaurant.
