Ordered the duck confit and was served merely a single wing. It was over cooked. If the kitchen was out of the duck dish I could have ordered a different entree but the waitress never mentioned it. Upon hearing my complaint she offered me an opportunity to order an alternate dish but I declined since all the other guests in my party had already been served and were starting to enjoy their respective selections.

Parking: Good selection of wines to choose from and also well priced for a restaurant.

Great little spot. Even has parking, which is super rare for this area. Good customer service still wouldn’t tip though. Descent atmosphere.

Great place to eat and taste good American and European wines. The server we had knew his stuff! Small discount on wine purchased in store after our meal. We took the charcuterie + cheese boards and the duck confit cassoulet. The duck was well cooked and tender.

Parking: There is free parking at the roundabout opposite

I stopped in here on a whim on my way home to grab a bottle of wine and was immediately greeted with friendly staff who had incredible recommendations for what I was looking for. When I went to check out I was given a membership discount, and a chilled bottle instead of the room temperature one I had grabbed! Since I moved to San Diego about a year ago I’ve been looking for a wine shop and this place will definitely have me as a loyal customer. Thanks for making my day :)

Drove across town to a wine tasting that was advertised to end at 4:30 and arrived at 4:20 and was told it was too late to be served. Very frustrated. If you want to stop serving at 4 or 4:15 then don’t advertise the event is ending at 4:30.

A friend recommended this spot to me when I said I wanted to take myself out for dinner and as soon as she suggested it she was sad that she couldn’t come! What a true friend with a great recommendation because everything was exquisite, so delicious!! I got the mocktail pomegranate moscow mule, fries and shrimp arrabiata. Everything was soooo flavourful and I loved how cozy it was inside. Greeted with such warmth! Amazing service, Ross took great care of me. Thank you thank you!

My husband and I eat here at least twice a month. It’s one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Excellent food, prices, & service.Noise level is lower than most restaurants. You can actually have a conversation, imagine that!Seating is in many different rooms: one room holds rows of red wines, seating and a large bar. Another room holds rows of white wine and sparkling wines, plus seating. A third room is seating only. The best selection of wine in Point Loma, and maybe in all of San Diego.I’m a fan of their prix fix menu on Sundays: salad , entree, dessert for about $30.Excellent mussels and fries, salads, hamburgers, ahi en croute, salmon.I’ve stopped ordering the duck confit because the skin has been soft and flabby lately. I prefer it crispy. Also there has not been a sauce served with the duck confit like at some other French restaurants. That’s about the only item I dislike on the entire menu.

Fish special was stringy and super tough, very noisy atmosphere, waiter left and gave my order to next waiter who forgot. I decided to give up on it. I'd ordered coffee but it never came, wasn't on my check and I couldn't get anyone to attend. . Two good experiences here before but for brunch and lunch. This was a Wednesday evening for dinner. It was my birthday. Horrible.
