This place is eh the appetizers were a NO for me the salad was drenched in sauce that tasted salty and same with the sausage also salty. The entrees were okay but I feel like another Thai place could do it much better.
The place is cute and the service was nice.

Always hits the spot! We usually get their Tom Kha with steamed tofu, Pad See Ew with mock duck, & the Panang curry with fried tofu or mock chicken. Their cocktails are pretty good too. All reasonable prices with large portions, & so easy to make everything vegan. Service is great & they're open late every night. What a gem!

Do not bother coming, very uncomfortable, weird energy, They expect you to tip them after they make you run to your apartment down the street to grab cash , because their internet was down.

Food was great but service was terrible. We never got our cutlery even after our food had arrived. We actually had to take it from the table next to us. We ordered dessert, and they took away the plates but not the cutlery. So we ate the desserts with the new cutlery that they put it with, next to the dirty cutlery from before. At the start menu was tossed on our table and finally when we asked for receipts, it was like they didn’t hear it. The servers clearly doesn’t want to be there, but the food is good. Don’t dine in just get takeout or delivery. Again DON’T DINE IN.

I recently had dinner at Asian Bistro in San Diego, and I’ve got to say, it was incredible! The mock duck and sticky rice were absolute standouts—seriously, you have to try them. The mock duck had this perfect texture and flavor, and the sticky rice was just the right amount of sweet and sticky.

The vibe of the place is super chill, and the staff was friendly and helpful without hovering, which I really appreciated. It’s the kind of spot where you can just relax and enjoy some really good food. Definitely adding this place to my regular rotation. Highly recommend!

This should capture the casual, authentic feel you’re going for!

Came in for a quick bite around 1130 but it was pretty slammed which is usually a good sign.

Service wasn’t super quick but they were super friendly, gave a free appetizer and were really apologetic about the issues they had with internet.

Management is amazing, def recommend this place the food was bomb.

Got a few appetizers like the wontons and the egg drop soup.

The old menu with the old owner was a lot better. The food quality has gone down.

Told us to wait until table was clean just to come back and say only take out only. We entered an hour before close…

Everyone at the table loved their food. However, when it comes to bill time, they only split 3 ways and automatically add a large party gratuity onto the tab. If you’re like me with a busy group and having to pay, you’d miss that the tip was already factored into the bill.. the server was great, but now got 40% tip. I won’t be going there with large groups again. We could have just separated the tables a bit and pretended not to be a group.. to pay the bill took over 20 minutes. Food was really great though.

Food was good. But they shorted me on my rice. I don't care what time of night it was. Its no excuse. Maybe I should've checked. Doesn't matter anyway. They didn't care. I even gave a tip. Which meant nothing to them . They're entitled!!!!! Never coming back here again!!!!!!

The flash dryer green beans are amazing. A nice crunch and great flavor. I've tried several dishes and they've all been good. I usually get takeout. I've tried other Thai in this area and Asian bistro is the best of the options.

Fried rice! It's plentiful and delicious but not much difference between flavors. Thai Basil wasn't as "basil" as it could be but was decent. It's in the heart of Hillcrest so good luck with parking but it's a local favorite and good for take out too.

Food was great. Found this on a whim during our San Diego vacation. Was pleasantly surprised! Some of the best food we had in SD. Service was very lacking though. Think they were understaffed on the night we went. Ordered to-go and waited about 45min for 2 entrees. The person who took our order was too busy with seated tables and kind of forgot about us. Luckily another staff member noticed we had been waiting awhile and helped get is our order.

Would return though! Was delicious. Hopefully they can get and retain more staff!

Parking: Mostly street parking.
