Great local dive, i attent regularly on Saturdays for karaoke and it gets quite busy. Other nights of the week are more relaxed and the crowd ranges from college kids and locals, to barflys, poolsharks, older, younger. All around a nice mix of people to talk to, pretty good selection of alcohol, good bartenders, and always a good time.

Let see if we can have an ice raid here, to much gang activities. Got arrested buying food for the homeless outside. I was a disturbance to the community. I was let go after, that's a different case. They getting sued next. I'll include your establishment in the law suite with the la mesa pd. I still have the taser prongs.

Fun place to just drink a couple of drinks and play pool or meet new people. The environment is great. Had a good time. Will be back soon.

A dive bar experience, but it's not a small hole in the wall with no windows. They have great garage door style front that makes this a nice open air space. Outdoor seating in the back if you like or just wanna smoke. Several pool tables and a couple e-dart boards. Many TV's and a jukebox. Bartenders are all wonderful. Drinks are well priced. Only negative is the big door man if you come at night, but it is what it is. Prefer to do some day drinking here anyway!

I recently had a very unpleasant experience at this bar. Despite ordering our drinks well before closing, the bartender—an older black male in his late 40s—rudely snatched our drinks away while we were still drinking. He aggressively insisted, “We close at 2 AM en punto,” clearly trying to mock my Spanish descent. His behavior was not only disrespectful but also blatantly racist. This was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I won’t be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this place if they value respectful and fair treatment.

I highly do NOT recommend this bar. I am 22 years old with a Florida ID. Two times now I have been denied at the door and accused of having a fake ID because it is a Florida ID. The bouncers were hostile, aggressive, and discriminatory based on the state my ID was from, even though it is my drivers lisence and scans when they scan it. Please do not go there or give them your money as they treated me awfully and with so much disrespect it was unbelievable. Blvd, train your bouncers to know what a real ID looks like and to be more respectful to people in general.

Rude and Racist Bartender Ruined Our Night
