Delicious appetizers, ramen, and beer selection. Happy hour specials all day Wednesday, same day as the OB Farmer's Market. They've got the Padres game on and a good sized back patio. Same owners as The Joint.

Really glad to have a place like this on Newport now. The ramen was solid and the karaage was excellent. Everyone was nice and the restaurant was very clean. Bowls were a little on the pricier side but I would still be happy to go again sometime. The happy hour deals looks solid and their beer and sake menu were very much above average in terms of craft beers

This was our first experience at The Bowl. The joint is an OB staple so we had pretty high expectations for what the bowl had to offer. The service was great, waiter was all smiles and very kind, and fast. The food was also pretty timely, we ordered shishitos, cucumber salad, kimchi for happy hour, all were delicious. We also got the smash burger, which was different but delicious, and the bowl ramen (pro move- dip burger in ramen broth). The ramen itself was yummy (a little expensive tbh) but still not gonna dock it points because it was good. I’d recommend to anyone in town, happy hour is the vibe, $2.50 sapporos, can’t beat that!

Fast service and the ramen was delicious - their happy hour has $2.50 beers which is basically unheard of

The food was really flavorful! I had the Veggie Tantanmen perfectly spicy! My husband had the tonkotsu and also liked his ramen! Sam was our waitress and was great! We came in on a Friday and were sat right away! We will be back!

I just need the world to know.. this is not your ordinary ramen. This place does everything with precision. The pork was cut thin(which is perfect for ramen) the kimchi was the best I’ve had in a restaurant.. EVER. And the broths would absolutely take you into a studio ghibli movie.I do wish the 100 cat scultures were waving but the batteries must have been dead, maybe there is a way to plug them up?

Top tier ramen spot. The staff are the kindest & so attentive (shoutout Lucas!!). The food is truly superb and I love how they've learned from one of the masters of ramen from Japan - really shows their dedication to their craft, and their quality of ingredients + flavor backs that up. They have a wide variety of beers and yummy sake as well. I come here multiple times a week and recommend you should too!

Food was delicious! I ordered gyoza and ramen both were perfect. Grace was helpful and answered any questions I had about the menu! I'll be back for sure
